09/11/2014 - HOW TO GET RID OF YOUR ENEMIES

I will praise You, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. When my enemies turn back, they shall fall and perish at Your presence. Psalm 9.1-3

Our enemies—demons—even though they present themselves as strong, powerful and invincible, they will not resist if we fight them. When we fight against the devil in the name of Jesus, we are bringing the presence of he who is a Consuming Fire, and regardless of the devil’s determination to defy us, he will not be able to stand against us. The Lord’s anointing turns us into flames of fire. Therefore, we must never run from battle.

David said that his enemies turned back and fell. The same will happen with the forces of evil that are attacking you. Arm yourself with the weapons of righteousness that the Most High has given to all those who are faithful to him and go into battle! Not only did the enemies of David fall but they also perished at the presence of the Almighty, and the same will happen to the demon that is attacking you. If it does not flee right away, he will surely fall and will not be able to rise again.

After defeating his adversaries, the king of Israel was able to praise the Lord with his whole heart. As long as you fear the evil one, he will continue to act in your life, causing your mind to be occupied with wickedness, dwelling on unclean thoughts and sinful practices. Therefore, you will not be able to praise God as you should. On the other hand, if you face the devil you will make him fall once for all. This way, you will praise the Lord with your whole heart.

One good thing to do is to tell of the Lord’s marvelous works (Psalm 105.5). It is good for both those who hear about them and for those who are reminded of them. When we talk about the marvelous works that God has done, our faith grows and we become stronger in our fight against evil. God has called us to fight against the rulers of the darkness of this age (Ephesians 6.12). We are God’s agents who will bring the message of the cross to the four corners of the world.

Those who rejoice in God, as the Teacher said it would happen when he came to visit us, will receive God’s full blessing. Therefore, seek to always have fellowship with our Father; even if you are under attack by the devil, do not bow nor complain, because your victory is certain. God always leads us in triumph (2Corinthians 2.14).

When the Most High visits you, you will not only be glad but also your heart will be filled with happiness—it will rejoice in God. This is the indication that you can ordain whatever you want and it will be done accordingly. Now, brother, as a worthy soldier, demand in the name of Jesus that all afflictions in your life are destroyed and undone forever.

Once your enemies have turned back and fallen, they will never rise again. The works that God does (or that you must do in him) have to be completed. Therefore, do not accept that they are done in an incomplete manner. When we are with God, success is complete.

In Christ, with love,

Wonderful God, now we know how to get rid of our enemies, even when they are very well-prepared. In your court, Lord, where you judge with perfect righteousness, you will give the verdict of our acquittal and of the enemy’s conviction. You are and will always be just.

Then our mouths will be filled with songs of praise which we will sing with our whole hearts. We cannot keep quiet before such amazing love and kindness. Our greatest joy will always be to tell of your marvelous works, speak of that which you have done for us through the death of Jesus on Calvary.

When your gladness invades our hearts, making us leap for joy, our enemies will turn back and fall. And they will never rise again, because their ability to stand against us will have perished at your presence, Lord. Thank you so much, Father!
