I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD; I will make mention of Your righteousness, of Yours only. Psalms 71.16

A Christian must never admit the possibility of being defeated in the battles he goes into. It is the enemy who, in reality, goes out to battle certain of his defeat. However, we unfortunately are not aware of the Scriptures or of the power of God and, therefore, listen to the lies of the evil one and miss out on the victory Jesus guarantees us. It is lack of knowledge that which destroys us (Hosea 4.6).

Those who are guided by the Spirit of the Lord ought to heed the instructions that are given, so they are not caught out of guard by the evil schemes and lose the fight. Our heavenly Father is certainly disappointed in His servants when they don’t act as accordingly as such. Behold, you will never be defeated if you recognize your position in Christ and are filled with the Holy Spirit.

The Almighty will equip you with all the weapons you need to destroy the evil attacks against you. The work God has entrusted you ought to be done in faith and love. When you are led into battle, fight with all of your strength, praising the Lord for the defeat you bring upon on the enemy.

Fight as the Lord does, knowing you will never be put to shame. Truth always triumphs, so if you are fighting against a lie, the works of the devil, and are attempting to benefit a person or community, the victory will be yours. However, it is imperative to be under the direction of the Almighty, because human or religious arguments have no power in spiritual battles. Truth alone prevails in such a conflict.

Before going into battle, get in the presence of God and then go out in His strength. The divine anointing over your life will make you as undefeatable as the Lord Himself. When the enemy sees you, he will sense you full of heavenly glory and, trembling with fear, will flee because, when receiving a divine touch, you become like a burning flame. 

Never use human arguments in battle. The Word of God alone has the power to strengthen you and give you victory. Religious regulations have no value against the powers of hell. Therefore, fight according to what is in the Bible. It is through hardships that we prove in whom we trust.

Make mention of the Lord’s righteousness; by doing so you will have the strength you need for victory. Do not be overzealous, though, when rebuking the enemy, because it can become a hindrance. To offend the devil is to fall into his hands. Christ Himself didn’t act like that, so neither should we. When rebuking the enemy, follow Scriptural guidance. The righteousness of God never fails.
