If these people go up to offer sacrifices in the house of the Lord at Jerusalem, then the heart of this people will turn back to their lord, Rehoboam king of Judah, and they will kill me and go back to Rehoboam king of Judah. 1 Kings 12.27

The worst thing is to let your own mind decide your future. After Adam’s sin, the Creator had to move away from man. Without Him – the Light that shows us the way – we have no understanding of what is the best path to follow. Therefore, we do not have the conditions in ourselves to recognize if what we deem right comes from ourselves or from a filthy spirit. Only the Lord can help us to discern it.

Jeroboham had the blessing of the Most High to create the kingdom of Samaria, but he did not care about whom he feared. Thus, he decided to create golden calves and to immerse in witchcraft, being “inspired” by evil spirits. The only way not to be guided by a demon is to have and keep the Lord’s commandments; if we do so, we will have the necessary light to make wise choices. 

Man must watch his attitudes. If the source of his orientation is not the Word, it must be refused. The understanding that comes from listening to the Word is the voice of God speaking to your heart. If there is any contradiction with the Scriptures and it does not come with a joy overflowing in your being, discard it. The spirit of man, when it feels the divine presence, rejoices and at the same moment, knows if it is God who is speaking.

What a great disappointment Jeroboham caused in Heaven! He could have been a second David, but due to the fact that he preferred sin, he was reproved by God. The same thing has happened with many people that are placed by the Most High in a position of command or of blessing for humanity. But unfortunately, many have been disqualified by loving someone other than their spouse, being fascinated with riches, the cares of life, and the ambition of various things in life.

Never fear anything that does not come from God, but reject the slightest thought that is contrary to the Scriptures. Now, the servants of the Lord will never be deceived; however, those who serve their own interests, or their relatives’ interests, show their bad procedure. Unfortunately, there are people that have been prepared by the Father, but have been lost. The question is: why have they not been faithful?

The obedient servants execute the purpose of the Most High, and therefore, are immune to the enemy’s wickedness, unless if they allow him to guide their lives. There is only one secret: not to walk away from the Lord’s plans. Those who dedicate to fulfill the orders of the Omniscient are on the right way, but those who despise Him remain in mistake.

As your soul imagines, so it happens. See what the source of your actions are and only do what certainly comes from God. Whoever wants to know the will of the Lord will never be in doubt. Now those who are influenced by the world will weep tears of blood for all eternity. Who will you obey? What will be your eternal destiny?
