It wasn´t just Elijah the prophet who was subject to the same passions as we are. Even the patriarch of the Hebrews had moments of weakness. If he is not in the revelation of the Word, the man of God will not be able to take hold of the opportunities that he will be offered. As a result, he will act like the lost. We must live in faith before the Most High, receiving His assistance.
God does not deal with supermen, because they don´t exist, but with ordinary people. That is why we must never deify any servant of the Lord, because only He who is good and perfect knows all things, including our inner self. The vessels used by the Most High are no different from us, except in their capacity to give themselves to Him, to do what pleases Him. You can be one of them, if you put your faith into action.
Any person who lives away from God, even if they are a member of the Body of Christ, will make bad decisions. If the are not in Jesus, and the words of Christ are not in them (John 15.5), they will do things in which they will regret later. Only the Lord is infallible, for He is sovereign. Any person can be an overcomer, as long as they keep the Scriptures.
Logical reasoning belongs to the natural man, but the wisdom of the Lord is manifested in those who live in His presence, according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Why despise biblical teachings, if their mission is to do what they proclaim? The one who understands what he must do but doesn’t do it is doing wrong (James 4.17). But the faithful servant will be rewarded (Matthew 25.21). Seek for the excellent things!
We must watch, trying to be in the spirit. Now, dominated by the flesh, we will only do what the devil wants. To accept what the evil one shows us is to act as if the Most High were an illustrious stranger. It´s so sad to miss the chances offered by the Lord; after all, He has the best for His children. Take advantage of the heavenly blessings, saying yes to the Father.
Be careful with your thoughts and speech, for they can cause irreparable damage to those who ignore the Gospel. Words have the power to lift us up or to put us down: For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned (Matthew 12.37). Therefore, be very careful with what comes out of your mouth! Speak only that which is true, honest, pure, and virtuous (Philippians 4.8).
We can have God on our side by believing the promises revealed in Scripture. There is no such thing as one flock being hurt and the other escaping. We must do as Jesus did, who said that none of those entrusted to Him would be lost (John 17.12). Do not accept that among your own any should perish. The Lord is the Keeper of Israel! Hallelujah!
In Christ, with love,

God, our Protector! How much ground do we give to the enemy, by not asking You for counsel and guidance? We must live close to Your commandments, for they are our wisdom. We want to be at Your feet, like Mary did. Thus, we will not fall!
We cannot use human arguments, but rather - live by Your promises and Your faithful love, even if we are unfaithful. We can't let the enemy do whatever he wants with us. As Your servants, we are free from his reach!
We are grateful to You for protecting us, warning us of the evil one's plans and guiding us safely. May we know how to repay what You do for us by keeping Your commandments. Thus, we will never be hit by the enemy. All glory to You!
