18/10/2017 - HUMBLE YOURSELF BEFORE GOD

So Moses and Aaron came in to Pharaoh and said to him, “Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews: ‘How long will you refuse to humble yourself before Me? Let My people go, that they may serve Me. Exodus 10:3

If all people learned how good it is to humble themselves before the Lord, they would be successful in faith. Even men of God have shown they have not learned this special factor, for when they are strong and have no health issues, they pray arrogantly, saying that they need the Most High to do favors for them. Be a simple and humble person, and be ready to answer to the Lord, and you will find out how gratifying that is. 

It is common for mankind to think they are important and that they don’t need anyone´s help. This happens everywhere and practically with all people. A little bit of light helps, but those who receive it must not deviate from the Truth and be carried away by the lies of the enemy; now, a man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven (John 3:27). Pray, seek God and receive the power, but receive humbleness as well. 

The Pharaoh was told that his denial in letting the holy people go their way would cause other plagues to come upon him. The wise are aware that they cannot stand against the Lord, for He is Omnipotent, and, if they have Him as their Friend and God, then most assuredly their problems will be solved. Never say no to the Most High because He always knows what´s best for you and He will give it to you. Just love Him! 

Even the seven previous plagues that caused a great loss to the entire Egyptian nation were not enough to break the pride of the pharaoh. The other three that were still to come wouldn’t be enough either, maybe momentarily. There are people who will not bow before God unless they are shaken and there are others that rather go to eternal torment than to recognize that God is the Lord over their lives 

Those who harden their neck must prepare themselves for the evil that will come their way. Why not surrender before the sovereignty of the Lord of all the Earth? Will an unbeliever be able to withstand when that happens? Perhaps they think so, because they think that if God takes a nap, he will come out victorious. Only those who are under the devil´s influence can think this way. If the Most High took a nap just once, we would all be lost. 

Even the Pharaoh´s servants dared to speak to the king, because they couldn’t bear so much suffering. How many parents are responsible for tragedies that happen to their children? There is a saying that people always say and it is quite true: “When the head does not think, the body pays the price”. Check to see what bad things have been happening to you and your family and change your attitude by recognizing your errors and making things right with the Heavenly Father. Amen? 

Examine yourself and see if the demon has been destroying your family because of the way you behave, or because of your words or some filthy sin that is hidden. Those who don’t surrender before God will go through many hardships. Mercy!
