And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem bowed before the Lord, worshiping the Lord. 2 Chronicles 20.18

There are two ways to hear from the Lord, but you must only accept the method of faith. If the word came from God, you should give the proper attention. Whoever listens with disbelief, will probably achieve nothing. Even if they prayed correctly, their lack of faith will hold back the action from the divine power. Even if the situation seems to be very difficult, if you listen from the Lord, pray with faith and believe that the revealed blessing has been given to you.

When God ordered Moses to go back to Egypt, He knew what He was going to do in the land of the Pharaoh, who served demons and revered them as gods. Because of his arrogance before the mighty hand of God, the sovereign Egyptian saw wonderful deeds from the Lord happening in his land; however, even so, he did not bow before the Almighty and, because of that, he reaped despair and pain, when everything could have been different.

The Most High would not have delivered His people from captivity in a hidden way, but through big battles, so that everyone knew that God was acting. Know that the Lord works in the same way in our days; so, if you prayed but nothing happened, do not say that He doesn’t want to bless you. Make sure your attitude is correct and continue praying until the answer comes from God’s power. Faith in the Lord will never fail.

Keep in mind that the celestial Father brings everything to light, so that the enemy will not bring ruin. When the Lord works, the devil cannot stop Him. Therefore, in any situation, believe in what the Lord has spoken, because it is impossible for God to lie or to repent from the decision He has made to bless you (Numbers 23:19). The servants of God will never repent from having trusted the One who always honors faith.

While bowing down with the face on the ground, Jehoshaphat was in the most beautiful and perfect act of worship. Therefore, if there was any type of doubt about his fellowship with God, it would be undone. The Lord is God and, as such, He must be worshiped. Be an example to the people, who, even with hardened hearts, will melt before the divine presence as they see the prowess your faith. But be careful, a bad testimony could lead many people to be defeated.

While seeing their king bowed, worshiping God, all the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem also bowed together in one heart before the Lord, therefore, they were confident that the Almighty was about to enter the battle and that victory was certain. Do whatever is at your reach so that your family members can acquire a strong faith in the Lord, for, not only that will bring many benefits, but it will also serve as a model for people who still have immature faith.

Jehoshaphat understood the message and agreed with what he was told. With this, he received new instructions, and the people got prepared for the following day. At the time of battle, everyone saw that the king of Judah believed in God and, as if they were one person, they accepted the directions. This way, they testified to the great deliverance they were given. The Omnipotent still works in the same way.

In Christ, with love,

Oh God! What a wonderful day when all of those people heard and believed Your instructions! The king of Judah bowed down before You,  and since he knew what was going to happen, he called the people to battle, knowing victory was certain.

Never have we seen such a posture from army leader. Jehoshaphat believed in You in such a way that he didn't question Your directions. When the instructions are clear, we only have to say amen.

Teach us to listen to You, so that we can make the best decisions and be delivered from the lies of the enemy. He will do whatever he can for us to doubt You, but, trusting in You, we shall see You work in our favor. Amem.
