That by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.

Hebrews 6: 18

The warnings recorded in The Scriptures must be taken seriously considering that not even one jot from The Law will be changed by God. Even today He heals the sick, delivers the oppressed and saves the lost. Yet, whoever someone might be, whatever they might do and however well-intentioned they are in several areas of life, if they keep resisting the divine voice they’ll be thrown into the eternal burning fire where the suffering will be everlasting as well as the divine wrath (Matthew 25: 41).

Those who despise the power of The Most High – The Only One who can relieve the pain of those people in suffering – will undoubtedly repent too late when they’ll be judged on account of their despising the stripes and the wounds of The Lord Jesus (Isaiah 53: 4, 5). Now, healing is a right each child of God must look for but it may not take place in the two following situations at least: when the person in need has no understanding about that matter or when they’re in sin. Yet, the divine direction will not be denied to those who look for it.

He who’s used to being tormented by temptations is in the same position of those who are sick – vulnerable to the enemy’s assaults. Those who let themselves be carried away by lusts begin seeing all wrongdoing with good eyes instead of rebuking it altogether. That generates in us a blind passion causing our natural defences – which allow us to sense people’s bad intentions – to become ineffective. Those who are passionately in love are threefold deceived in that they become blind, deaf and unwise.

The truth is that behind any disease it’s the very power of hell at work. So, do look into yourself and see what’s going on wrong in your life and, with faith and determination, you ought to rebuke it in The Name of Jesus. Even an uncontrolled appetite may be the action of demons to steal your health and to drive you earlier towards suffering and towards the grave. The same goes for those who give in to alcoholic beverages though they might not have become addicted yet.

There’s no reason for a child of God to be dominated by any wrongdoing since The Lord has already given us the heavenly consolation which provides us with the necessary power to rebuke any devilish assault. On top of that, our soul, body and spirit must be spotlessly kept for the coming of Jesus indeed. Therefore, you must let nothing – absolutely nothing – strip you of such glorious advent.

It’s impossible for God to lie (Numbers 23: 19) and none of His Words is deprived of power. That’s why they will be fulfilled and He’ll honour everything spoken by His lips. At the end of the day, however tough a situation might seem we mustn’t fear nor must we accept any failure in the end. If we turn to The Most High, in each fall, He’ll stretch us His hand to lift us up to regain victory.

In the past, all those who believed in the divine promises did see them being fulfilled in their lives. The same will happen to those who will follow suit today because our Father has never been unfaithful and He has never failed in honouring any of His words. So, do believe in Him!
