And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. John 14:13

This is a message that I will never forget and that has changed my life. I received it from the Lord on December 2nd, 1984, in the city of Mount Vernon, United States. At the time, I suffered from a cold that endured for two years and four months. However, that illness could not prevail against my faith. I learned that God fulfills what he promises, as long as I accept to be His warrior. Today, many years later, I continue to say that it is wonderful to serve Jesus!

How can I forget what the Lord has made me understand from His Word? For two years and four months I suffered from a cold that I could do nothing to make it end. Not even medical treatment helped me to be delivered from that illness. But when the Holy Spirit enlightened me with the verse that we are studying, true faith was given birth in my heart. Then, with a prayer that lasted less than a minute, I was set free.

I was reading the book The name of Jesus (written by Kenneth E. Hagin), which says that the verb ask, used by John to describe the words of Jesus, was badly translated. I immediately went to Strong’s Bible Concordance and checked that the term could have been translated as determine, ordain, to take possession of the blessing. After that, my heart was filled with a joy that I cannot describe, for it came from heaven.

It was as if Jesus himself spoke to me: “If you order this evil to leave you in my Name, I will do the work.” I did not wait for a minute longer. I went to the living room of the house that I was hosted, and with my index finger pointing towards my nose, I ordered all the evil to leave. For the glory of God, since then, I have been free from that problem, for my faith enabled the divine power to operate in my favor.

The evil that bothered me for more than two years left me so quickly that it seemed as if I had never suffered from it. Then I started living a “honeymoon” with Jesus, which has not ended and will never end, for when it ends here on Earth, it will continue Heaven. This is the only thing that you lack to make divine power to operate in your favor. Why don’t you believe in it now?

Since then, I have taught that the Lord fulfills what he promises, that His hand is not too short (Is. 59:1), and that His desire is that all His sons reign over the Earth. There is no reason why you should not get rid of whatever troubles you. Now, do not waver, do not be a coward, and enter firmly in God’s presence. Tell Him that you have just found out the truth, and without fear, without the slightest doubt, demand evil to leave you.

All you have to do is to use the Name of Jesus, for He promised to do the work that you determined on His Name. So now, claim this right that is yours!
