You who love the LORD, hate evil! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

Psalm 97:10

The statement “You who love The Lord” splits humankind into two parts. On one hand, there are those who have the commandments and fulfil them; on the other hand, those who are thoroughly deceived. Many are religious, they strive doing social work and dealing with religious matters, but they are not actually acquainted with The Word of God. Some even know what they should be doing; yet, they do not do it. In fact, all those people are away from the love of God. Also those who think they will conquer the divine love through petition or work are altogether deceived. Now, the good news is that those that really love The Lord will always be loved by our Father.

The verse above which we are looking into declares peremptorily that those who love the Lord have to hate evil. Those that do not see anything wrong in ungodly things prove that they have not incorporated at all the other group, those that really love God. Whenever they feel the urgent need from The Lord to fulfil His promises in their lives, they will realize with sorrow that that is extremely unlikely to happen, considering that Our Father does not act in disagreement with His Word; He can neither do anything He condemns nor assist those who do not do what they are demanded to be doing.

Unfortunately, some Christians do not consecrate their lives to The Lord, and by doing so, they show they are unaware of the danger they are being submitted to since there are two forces fighting against each other for dominating human beings. On one hand is our God who wants to make our life a blessing; on the other hand is Satan who tries to make us suffer here, in this world, and he even attempts to take us along with him to eternal doom. Those who are not holy, separated for our Father are in a great danger considering that they are away from the divine protection. Being away from The Most High one finds oneself at easy reach of the enemy.

Those who separate themselves for God have a great reward: they are kept by the hands of The Omnipotent. Besides, they become heirs of all His promises meaning that the divine power is always by their side to keep them. For those, doors are always open and neither any intentions from the enemy nor his plans against their lives will be fulfilled because The One who keeps them neither slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121:4). The Most High will never turn us into sold slaves to end up being caught in the hands of the devil; on the contrary, He will keep us forever as if we were the pupil of His very eye. The good news is that The Lord, apart from being faithful, is a God of love.

The ungodly, those people who pay no respect to The Word, whenever they can they touch filthy things; yet, those who belong to The Lord are delivered from the stained hand of those who practice wrongdoings. Our good God has an eye on us all the time and He will never, under any circumstance, allow the ungodly to see fulfilled their evil intentions against our lives. We are fully and perennially free from any evil; having said that, though one thousand might fall at our side and ten thousand at our right side we will never be hit (Psalm 91:7).

There are no more excuses. The divine recipe for evil not to hit you is in your hands.

In Christ, with love,
