Did Peter lose his way in his old age and enter the world of lies, where the devil rules and deceives everyone? No, this does not happen to any child of God. Did he say that, after his death, he would strive to give the people the necessary guidance? No, he said that he would try to leave written what he taught for our complete information.

A dead person cannot intervene in our world, because he is in another dimension, unable to contact us. In fact, he knows nothing of what happens here: For the living know that they will die; but the dead know nothing and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten (Ecclesiastes 9.5). Do you understand that?

Poor people who seek a witchdoctor to maintain contact with a deceased family member or with someone they loved so much! The evil spirit will appear, taking advantage of that person’s ignorance. We must seek what the Lord says in His Word, because the enemy walks around us, roaring like a lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5.8). The devil is a master of deception!

Many are caught in Satan’s web, living outside of the Most High’s control and going from bad to worse. Someone under the control of the evil one can only get out of this prison with the help of Jesus. The Savior is the ideal person to free anyone who is under the devil’s control. However, many don’t realize this and continue to worship the being that is evil by nature.

We have the tools to warn the world, but oddly enough, even those who have prospered after being bankrupt, full of debts and unable to free themselves from the hellish forces, do not show the love that they should towards God. Well, such person has not yet learned to live next to Jesus, who is gentle and lowly in heart (Matthew 11.29). The Lord helps you so that you can help others!

We need to study what Peter said. In his two letters, there is material with good instruction for us to follow in Christ’s footsteps. So says the Word: The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing (Psalm 34.10). Seek to learn the doctrine to which the apostle refers to. It will bless you greatly. God is always good!

Before He returned to Heaven, Jesus left us the example of how to serve God and do His will, commanding us to teach everything we have learned from Him to people brought to us. So, invest time and resources in your calling. No doubt, after your departure, others will be blessed as well.
