06/11/2010 - LET THE LORD FULFILL HIS PLAN

May the LORD give you increase more and more, you and your children. (Psalm 115:14)

It is a very bad idea to cooperate with the enemy in order to prevent God’s promises to be fulfilled. He is the Almighty and as such He can eliminate anyone or anything that tries to hinder the accomplishment of His dreams. After the Lord speaks about something, His Word will execute whatever is necessary for His purposes to be performed. Remember what happened to Zechariah – John the Baptist’s father: he did not believe in the message that the angel conveyed to him and as a result he lost his voice. The same will occur with those who try to keep the divine power from fulfilling its plan (Luke 1:13-20).

The intent of the Lord must not be hampered in the lives of those who are accepted as members of His Body. Imagine this: if a man or woman of authority has a plan and is willing to fulfill it but someone keeps them from doing so, they will be filled with anger and will do whatever it takes to achieve their goal. It is no different with our God. When the Lord decides to do something and gives us a command, we had better do our part and not disrupt the Heavenly work.

For those who believe, there is no limit for the fulfillment of the divine will. If the Most High chooses you to do His work, it is not going to be your abilities that will grant you victory, but His. He who cooperates with the Lord, even if it is just to give a glass of cold water to any of His little ones, will by no means lose his reward (Matthew 10:42). In fact, He will remember the good we did to Him and will not forget those who do nothing for the furtherance of His work. An example of this happened with Meroz, a people that lived in the days of the judges Barak and Deborah and that was cursed for not doing anything to help Israel (Judges 5:23).

Brethren, the Lord\’s will is that you increase more and more, so do not let the devil fool you. Satan says that God has nothing more to give you because He has given everything that could be granted to you. That\’s a lie! At every hour of the day the Lord wants to give you the desires of your heart, thus fulfilling His plan for your life. If you cooperate with the Most High, you will be rewarded. Moreover, His plan does not only include you but your entire family.

Do what Joshua did: he declared that he and his household would serve the Almighty (Joshua 24:15). Well, there are only two masters: God and the devil. He who does not serve the true Lord serves the enemy, who is a liar. The heavenly Father is the best boss, because He keeps His promises and honors what proceeds from His lips. But the enemy is a liar and never does what he promises. So whoever believes in Satan and cooperates with him will be deceived.

The Most High is faithful to fulfill what He promised. There will never be a time when our Father will forget His promises or fail to perform His good will, because He is what the Bible says (Numbers 23:19), and we are and have what we believe in through His Word. However, there is no point in praying if you do not trust what He asserts.

It is written that God will increase you. All you have to do is believe in what He promises and set out hands to work. Regardless of your present situation, the Word of the Highest Authority of the Universe states that you will increase more and more. Then stand firm in the Word and start to praise the Lord for the blessed and abundant life that He will grant you.
