 I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.” Psalm 122.1

What an irrefutable invitation we receive from the Holy Spirit! Going to the house of the Lord makes our hearts throb with happiness, changes our lives and doesn’t allow the devil to lead us to sin (1 Corinthians 10:13). If we sinned, we would be separated from our Father. What a loss! If we died at that moment, we would be separated from God for all eternity (Isaiah 59:1,2). Whoever is separated from Jesus will be thrown into the lake that will burn with fire and brimstone (John 3:36; 1 John 5:12). Mercy!

The joy we feel when we receive an invitation to God’s house comes from Heaven. For this reason, nothing will stop us from going where the Lord is spoken of and thus belonging to the best and most blessed group on the face of the Earth. Refusing to serve God prevents you from seeing Him, from living away from the devil and from being happy and fulfilled. The enemy is fighting to take you away from the Kingdom of Happiness, where there will never be any harm.

Many religions have famous temples built by engineers who, because of their work, are applauded by experts in good things. What’s more, these projects have come from the hands of renowned architects. But these are human constructions, not the house of the Lord. Now, to be part of the congregation of the Lord is to be where He is present. There, He heals the soul, frees the oppressed from demons and gives them peace (John 14:27).

Going to the house of God does tremendous good for the body, soul and spirit. We may have countless problems, but being where you can hear and see the power of the Most High manifest itself is the best thing one can do. Ask the Almighty to make you feel the need to be in communion with Him and to obtain such a blessing. The Lord is good!

Perhaps those who go to church are facing struggles, but when they arrive in this holy environment, the solution from Heaven soon comes. With this answer, the pain and torment disappear, and the person becomes part of the successful people. Learn about the Word of God in the house of the One who created you and wants to rejoice with your life. The Lord is sad when He sees His children becoming something He didn’t plan. Turn to Him!

You will be blessed beyond belief if you are in the presence of the Almighty. That’s all anyone can hope for. Act correctly, for the flame of the Holy Spirit is already beginning to burn in your heart. With that, you will become what He envisioned when He designed your life (Psalm 139:13-16). Don’t frustrate the One who made the plan that culminated in Christ’s coming and will remain forever!

Why turn down the best invitation in the world if you don’t even have a place to lay your head? The Lord’s shoulder is the best place to rest. God wants to bless you with contentment, because you have been chosen to belong to Him and to be helped. Any obstacle to your victory will be removed by Him. When you step into the house of the Lord, consider yourself blessed!
