The fear of the LORD leads to life, and he who has it will abide in satisfaction; He will not be visited with evil.

Proverbs 19:23

To respect what the Lord tells you is one of the most important things you can do. In doing so, you will please God and, at the same time, you will be settled in life. Those who do not pay attention to such an important detail will not be benefited by the power of God, which can heal, deliver and get them to be in perfect communion with the Almighty.

Adam’s fall caused us to be subjects of the devil. The father of lies achieved his goal due to the error of our first father; so there was no way out. The only way for us to be redeemed would be to have someone pure and sinless to die on behalf of mankind. However, as there was no one to meet those requirements, – because all have sinned and fell short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) – the Son of God came and died in our place.

Jesus paid the price and, today, to be delivered from the kingdom of darkness, you only need to accept Him as your Substitute, your Savior. In making that decision, you will be taken from under the authority of the evil one to be conveyed into the kingdom of the Son of God’s love (Colossians 1:13). At the same time, the Lord will recreate your spirit and everything will be new in your life (II Corinthians 5:17), therefore you will be free from bondage forever.

Now, with the fear of the Lord, you will be taken to where there is life and power to heal, bring peace, prosper and do what is necessary. No more closed doors for those who are in Christ Jesus. The best thing is that the new convert has his “record” expunged because his sins are all forgiven. When an individual is born into God’s family he is acquitted of any sin that his old creature might have committed.

The way you live shows whether or not you respect the Lord. If you are constantly dissatisfied, you do not have the fear of God and that is precisely where danger lies. On the other hand, if you respect the Father, you are always happy, accomplished and do not fear evil. By being of Christ, you are delivered from the spirit of discontentment.

He who fears the Most High is never visited with evil. If you have been plagued by any disturbance, there are still parts in your spirit that do not respect the Lord, do not live in holiness and are carried away by temptations. Those who are delivered by the Lord Jesus are truly free from the onslaughts from hell.

There is nothing better than making amends with God. Make the right decision and start having the divine protection in your life. Then, you can rest assured that no harm will visit you. As for the rebels, those who oppose the truth, the enemy will not leave them alone because they have no divine protection.
