Your righteousness is like the great mountains; Your judgments are a great deep;O LORD, You preserve man and beast. Psalm 36:6

David was used by the Most High to give us a message in which we need to meditate. This statement can change our relationship with God and our position before the enemy, making us real winners. The psalmist spoke of the righteousness of the Lord as the great mountains, which do not shake and remain as long as the Earth exists. There is no way to remove this unwavering justice.

Divine justice was completed in the death of Jesus when He overcame the devil and took from him the stolen authority of man and with it oppressed mankind. After overcoming the forces of darkness and having stripped them of the power invested against us, the Master commanded us to go throughout the world to preach the Good News to every creature, ensuring that in His Name those who believe can cast out demons, heal the sick and bear witness to the Gospel (Mark 16:15).

If this is already good, read the Apostle Paul’s statement to the Corinthians: “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him”. (2 Corinthians 5:21). We have been made in Jesus the righteousness of the Father; therefore, we are irremovable like the mountains. Therefore, be sure you are what the Lord says that you are before evils, but, with authority and in the Name of Christ, demand their departure.

The judgments of the Lord and His acts on our behalf – decrees, works, declarations and the greatest of them: that of loving us, to give His only begotten Son to save us and make us members of His Body – are like a great abyss. When you believe in the sacrifice of Jesus and command the removal of evil, the power of the devil involved in the evil work falls into that abyss and will continue to fall without ever reaching the bottom of it.

Like this righteousness, we must be aware that we will be used to end the dominion of the devil over humanity. By knowing this, in addition to being happy, we also feel the responsibility of our actions. We will never accept that our determinations about the teachings of the Word go unanswered, which was promised in the Scriptures. To God be the glory for all that we will do now and forever!

When you meet someone in trouble, show him that in Christ he can have his needs met and be free from all work of the kingdom of darkness. After we have commanded the problem to leave, we cannot accept the feeling of indignity or some negative thought that we will not be answered. Since divine justice is irremovable, like the mountains, our decision on the side of the Lord must also be unshakable.

Lastly, do not be corrupted! Truly, God preserves men as well as animals. This does not mean that we will not age, but our spirit will be as full of faith at the end of our days as it was when we began to walk by faith. Remember, the Word will never pass away (Matthew 24:35), even if everything passes away.

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares

Lord! How good it was to know that Your righteousness, we in Christ, make us like the unmovable mountains. Therefore we can fight against the forces of evil, which rise up against us, and overcome them. To You be the glory!

Thank You for using us as Your justice so that good may be done. Your decrees will be honored in their entirety. This way, we order that all operation of the devil in us cease!

Your judgments are like an abyss, as You declare. As we command the fulfillment of Your promises, the evil that surrounds us and tries to overcome us will fall on this endless cliff!
