Behold, at that time I will deal with all who afflict you; I will save the lame, and gather those who were driven out; I will appoint them for praise and fame in every land where they were put to shame.
Zephaniah 3:19
In this passage, the period to which the Word of God refers is our time. All of us could solve our own problems by simply believing in the Scriptures, but although we strive to improve our standard of living, only few of us truly follow the Word with the objective of finding a solution to our ordeals. Well, complying with the biblical ordinances is part of the respect and the fear that each individual should have in relation to the Most High; after all, how to respect the very laws that govern nature if the individual does not even value what God says? We must give due importance to the Creator of all things so that we can live our lives to the fullest!
The Bible says that the Almighty will deal with all who afflict us. This is one of the most important divine promises, for everything that rises up against us and makes us suffer will have the Almighty as its Opponent. Once we have this understanding we can stop worrying about the devil, who is the cause of all evils, and start living carefree. See if there is something hindering your journey and making you suffer. If so, the eternal God will act on your behalf for He will wage war against whatever is disturbing your health, your finances, your marital happiness and your family.
To those who are dragging themselves along their journey the Lord promises salvation, which has in itself many other blessings: the cure for all illnesses, the solution to all problems and the deliverance of all hellish onslaughts. Moreover, salvation is everyone’s right because Jesus paid a high price so that all mankind could be saved and delivered from the diabolical forces (John 3:16).
Adam\’s sin cast man out of God\’s presence and as a result our transgressions also deprive us from having communion with our Father. But today, one of God’s works is to gather in His house all those who were expelled. Because of what Christ did on Calvary, dying for us, we have the
certainty that if we accept Him, we will receive the power to become children of the Most High. So right now, whoever feels far from the Lord can make the best decision – seek His presence – and be conveyed to the Father’s house.
God’s promise also states that there will be praise in the life of those who believe in the Lord. Actually, when we hear what the Scriptures declare and accept Jesus as our Savior, we become children of God immediately and, in the spiritual world, a decree is issued according to which we become children of light (Colossians 1:12-13). Our names become prominent and respected as an authority and from that moment on the devil and his demons know they have to obey us.
Assume your spiritual position of simply submitting to the Lord and receiving Him as your Savior!
