looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.   Hebrews 12:2

When the Israelites, who had been bitten by poisonous snakes, looked at the metal serpent made and nailed by Moses to a pole, they were healed. They believed the Word of the Lord and found that it had the power to heal them. Now, the author of the letter to the Hebrews says that we must do the same with Jesus. When we look at Him, we are freed from the true serpents that poison us with sin.

This look at Christ is to examine His Word, the works performed by Him while on earth and His orders for us. Whoever does so is healed of any evil. Examining what the Lord declares strengthens us to the point that impossibilities become possibilities, and from our weaknesses we draw strength and wisdom to enjoy abundant life. If you want to be a winner, follow this heavenly guidance.

As long as we do not abandon religious norms, we will remain in the hands of the enemy. The operations of faith are seen when we use the power bestowed on us, as the responsibility we have to represent the Most High at the height of the power He has given us. Now, in saying that He will do whatever we ask – to claim, to determine in His Name – we have a basis for praying as adults in the faith and seeing wonders.

Why does someone spend months on end, crying out for something that has already been granted? In the vigils in the “presence of God”, many requests for mercy, help and other supplications are heard. There is nothing wrong with that; however, what matters is not what we say, but what we believe. Speaking negatively will never promote you to anything; perhaps, you will assist the chief of the defeated. However, you will be praised by God for expressing yourself positively.

Jesus is the Author of our faith. He is the One who produces the conviction in us that something belongs to us. So, we can claim that and take our place in Him. One day, Christ will be the Finisher of our faith and will demand what we produce with it. This is not information that can be used to joke or tease people who do not know how to act victoriously in the faith. We must meditate and pray to have the actual blessing.

The Master was not afraid of the affront that awaited Him. Being the Justice of God, he went to the cross in order to pay our price, being punished to be free from punishment. He had in His eyes the pleasure of taking us out of the powers of darkness and into the Kingdom of Heaven. Don’t pay attention to what others say, or the debauchery they make of you or the enemy’s threats. We have the authority to proceed like the Master.

After going through the affront and suffering at the hands of sinners, Jesus overcame the devil and his demons and is seated at the right hand of the Father. Good news! We were seated in the heavenly regions in Christ. So we have nothing different from the biblical heroes of the past!

In Christ, with love,

Lord, Whom we should look to! Like the people of Moses bitten by poisonous snakes, we also have serious problems with the devil. However, now, we have learned to undo the enemy's bonds in our soul, in our body and spirit.

It is good when You open the Word to us and let us see the number of exit doors from oppression. They are opened to us in the revelation of Scriptures. Therefore, we unite with You to declare that we also endure everything to enjoy salvation!

When the day arrives when the Author and Finisher of our faith comes to examine our actions carried out through the power granted to us, we will declare that we will not give Your glory to anyone or anything. You alone are worthy to receive it. Thank you for your blessings!
