So the King will greatly desire your beauty; because He is your Lord, worship Him. Psalms 45:11

Because he sought his strength in the Lord, David was a gentle man, although he was also an amazing warrior. There is no reason for someone who belongs to God to stop studying or growing in life. The servants of the Most High should be wise and of good humor, not being taken away by conspiracies or temptations. Afterall, we carry and represent His name.

According to your beauty, King Jesus will love you. This quality could be both physical and spiritual, but if you have to choose one, go with spiritual. There’s nothing better than seeing someone full of wisdom, walking in a blameless way, with no scandals and ready to do the work of God. Those who act that way will reach their objective.

Saul was looking for a man who could praise God so he’d be delivered from a demon that tormented him. This person had to play the harp well, so that when he played, the evil spirit would disappear. The king found this and other six qualities in the son of Jesse (1 Samuel 16:18). If there was a contest for a good position, and the necessary requirements were David’s virtues, would you be a candidate? Be vigilant!

The best quality we should have is a righteous spirit, dedicated to the work and that doesn’t get involved with wrong things. That way our head will always be up and we won’t need human protection. When we trust in the Lord, we are constantly protected. Are you receiving everything God has for those who love Him, because you have His commandments and keep them? (John 14:21). 

We bring shame to the Lord when we act in a sinful way, although we are known as His children. There is no reason to allow the enemy to use you and then blame God. The Father is perfect in all He does, but maybe you haven’t understood the way He acts and you gave in to temptation. God allowed Job to be tempted, because He knew that His servant wouldn’t betray Him. Meditate on that!

To have beauty, according to what the Bible says, is to serve God wholeheartedly and never move to the enemy’s side. You have been accepted into the Kingdom of Heaven to go until the end, practicing justice and overcoming the forces of darkness. Therefore, before leaving your house, watch how your dressed, and before replying to any question, analyze your feelings. The devil is a liar and evil, but the servants of the Creator are pure and righteous.

The final order of the verse we’re studying is to obey God, period. Those who do that will never lose a single battle. If you’ve fallen into sin, forget your defeat and rise to fulfill the purposes of God. The Lord says: Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers (3 John 2). How about living that way?
