The part of the plan revealed to Moses, about the fate of Pharaoh and the people who would follow him, was sufficient for that man of God to begin the trek across the Red Sea. What was not told to the deliverer was irrelevant, for he would have to trust the Most High. Likewise, what little the Lord lets you know about what He will do on your behalf is enough. The rest is secret.
For those who didn’t have faith in God, that was a time of difficulty, and the Israelites felt that, as they grumbled about the fact that the Lord had led them into the desert. Now, they didn’t know that later they would be exposed to the heat of the day and the freezing cold of the night for 40 years. This period would teach them to submit to the Almighty. He knows how to prepare His own!
God said that He would harden the hearts of the Egyptians, so that they would follow the Hebrews into the sea. With hardened hearts, the opponents of the holy people didn’t even calculate that this would be madness. If the invisible walls that held back the waters broke and fell on them, no one would escape – and that really happened. Do not harden your heart (Hebrews 3:7,8). In the hands of the Creator, you will have faith to overcome.
The Most High said that the purpose was His glorification in Pharaoh. The king of that country was idolatrous, for he blindly believed in a plurality of gods, which could do nothing for anyone; after all, they were only demons. God’s people need to read the Bible more, to go all the way, following the path pointed out by the Lord. The Father’s desire is to turn us into good servants!
No matter the problems of the world, where everything bad continues to occur and lead people to despair. If we walk with the Lord, we will not be afraid of the evils that will strike mankind (Psalm 91.5,6). It´s time to seek God´s presence, to pray until we find Him, and then, serve Him with all our heart and soul. The child of God must equip himself for the new battles that will come to honor the Almighty!
Christians should present themselves to God as approved workers (2 Timothy 2.15). Why tarnish the divine glory? By giving them a mission, He Himself will teach them what is necessary. It will be a dishonor to any saved person to fail to use the Name of Christ. Prepare yourself to be the Lord’s instrument. He will give you the opportunity to show yourself victorious in everything you do.
Pharaoh took his army, carrying all the hatred his heart could store. However, that entourage with its horses and riders drowned in the waters – never to breathe the air of the Earth again.
In Christ, with love,

God of our deliverance! Those who did not trust in Your power to do what was promised faced a great trial! But it was a beautiful day for those who believed in Your Word, for they knew that You would never abandon Your people!
The Egyptians considered their gods to be true, and believed that they would lead them in the persecution of the Hebrews, but the real slaves were the servants of the devil. The devil used them to try to prevent the Messiah from being born to set us free!
When You came out from the front of Your people and walked behind them, no one amongst the Israelites was harmed by the Egyptians. You were light to the Hebrews and darkness to their enemies. You will always be the God of our freedom and protection!
and Serug lived after he begat Nahor two hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.
