I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and none will make you afraid; I will rid the land of evil beasts, and the sword will not go through your land. Leviticus 26.6

A little attention to the divine statutes will make you a different person, who will never regret believing in the Lord and having surrendered your life to Him. No matter how difficult a situation may seem, God is bigger and stronger and will not forget anyone. With Him, you will never despond in battle. Whoever follows the Father of Lights will never bless himself when he sees crosses, but will pick up his cross, as Jesus instructed (Luke 9.23).

It would be so good if the saved would keep the commandments of the Most High! We would enjoy a blessed time, because He promises to give peace on earth. Then there would be no thieves, no people suffering or living at the expense of others. This is no mirage, for in the Lord’s Prayer, the Savior taught us to call for His will to be done, on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6.10).

God guarantees to make our land a peaceful place, where we will sleep safely, without the enemy reaching us. Blessed are those who take the Gospel to every part of their nation and the world! However, we see people who make others depend on them in all places, claiming to be friends of the less fortunate. They do not do what they should, which is to teach them to seek the Source of good.

The promise continues: None will make you afraid. This was said by the Lord to the Israelites, when they were still in the desert, heading for Canaan. They wandered for 40 years in that arid and dangerous territory, because they didn’t obey God when He told them to go up and occupy the region of the Amorites. Today, the disobedient also lives wandering around, without any peace.

Why is man so hard and sin-obsessed, only thinking about doing evil, being oppressed and humiliated? Why doesn’t he decide to believe in the Creator, who has a beautiful plan for everyone to live in full love? Why believe in the tempting liar, who only does wickedness and yearns for your failure? Well, God is true and a keeper of His promises. He will never lead you to any misfortune. Believe, the Lord is the Truth. He never betrays! 

God declares: And I will rid the earth of the evil beasts. He says that no one will attack us, if we live the pure and powerful faith, in the Name of Jesus. The Lord is the Answer to our pains; the Help that protects and saves sinners, and blesses workers and employers. He is wherever His Name is invoked and used. So be prudent and live free from evil people.

In conclusion, the Almighty guarantees that the sword will not go through your land and there will be no hunger or misery for those who don’t take His holy Name in vain. God will be at your side, as long as you believe in His ability to give you the life you never thought you deserved.
