I love the Lord, because He has heard My voice and my supplications. Psalm 116:1

David poured out his heart by declaring that he loves the Lord, and by this statement, the Spirit of God wants us to know many truths. Almost a thousand years after the psalmist declared his love for the Most High, Jesus clarified what it means to have and keep His commandments (John 14:21). By this, we can say that one of the secrets of this servant of God succeeding was to have the divine statutes and obey them.

He who acts in the same way will be rewarded to the same extent and, like David, will be victorious in his struggles. Knowing this, do not do as many as, deceived by the devices of the wicked, care little about knowing God’s plans for their lives. We must strive to know all that He wants us to accomplish. We need to use all our strength to do the Lord’s command.

Doing the will of the Father is the greatest reward. The wise and powerful God is also a skilled artist whose paintings are the most magnificent and whose poems are the most beautiful. Of course, the Lord would never fail to give countless moments of happiness to all who follow Him. Therefore, serve Him with joy and kindness of heart, and your needs will be met.

As the Lord has heard the voice of the psalmist, He will listen to those who propose to carry out His purposes. Divine precepts are neither burdensome nor difficult to fulfill. They protect us and fully bless us. Do not despise the things of God, allowing all sorts of problems to reach you. Pay attention to the Word and you will be served with many blessings.

The Almighty hears the cry of the righteous. So do not be ashamed to cry out to Him who can deliver you from despair and pain. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous; and their ears are open to their cry. The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them and delivers them from all their troubles (Ps. 34:15, 17).

David knew what he was talking about by writing that the Almighty had listened to his voice and his requests. This man had experienced God’s pleasant, good, and perfect will in his life (Rom. 12: 2) and received from the Spirit the commission to record this truth in Scripture. Heavenly Father wants His children to learn to enjoy His gifts. If today He has made you understand this, it is for His power to work in your life, supplying all your needs.

Remember, he who loves God is loved by him. Therefore, keep the commandments of the Lord, be obedient, and your supplications will be heard. Otherwise, you will experience much spiritual failure. Get away from it! Follow the guidance from Above and enter into covenant with Him. This is the Lord’s proposal for you right now. Do not postpone this decision. He is ready to hear you and fulfill His promises.

In Christ, with love,

God of love! What would become of us without your perfect love, which so embarrasses us? Teach us to love You, Father, and to keep Your precious Word. In this way, your blessings will not reach you without delay!

Sometimes we get carried away by the noise of the world, the evil voices that try to deceive us. But how glorious it is to know that when we walk in obedience to You, none of this hits us! We can cry, and you will come to our rescue!

It is wonderful to make sure that your ears are inclined to our voice! Our prayer must come quickly to Your throne! To do this, simply follow Your designs, which are not heavy. Amen!
