For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; nor has He hidden His face from Him; but when He cried to Him, He heard.

Psalm 22: 24

The afflicted can rejoice because they won’t be despised by The Lord nor will they be loathed. On the contrary, God casts a look of love at those who are under massive temptations and if they ask Him, He won’t fail to answer them. The Most High is concerned about everybody’s welfare; and that’s the reason why The Lord won’t deny any assistance to those who are in error if they just cry out to Him.

There are many sorts of practices considered abominations which have been adopted amongst humans. A variety of condemned practices by The Scriptures takes place everywhere considering that the devil has always adopted the same strategies. On the other hand, provided the afflicted realise they have a huge potential in God they’d turn their backs to their wrongdoing and would come back to our Father and thus their lives would be completely changed.

The Most High looks with tenderness towards humans as He’s always willing to know – without any sign of irritation, hatred or vindictiveness – what is causing them trouble. Our heavenly Father is well aware of all the treachery Satan has performed against people and that’s the reason why, being Love Himself (I John 4: 8) The Lord wants the deliverance of those who are living in iniquity. Due to the fact that God can never accept sin – because it’s precisely contrary to His holiness – He’ll assist those who are willing to be delivered.

Our Father doesn’t conceal His face from those people who are being lured by all sorts of aberrations at their lowest level. On the contrary, He does suffer with the excesses of those who – if they insist on neglecting The Word – will be condemned to eternal doom. Someone who is deeply troubled on account of their wrongdoing – provided they cry out to God – will eventually have His mighty hands operating on their behalf. Now, vindictiveness or bad recollections are things completely alien to our Heavenly Father.

The Scriptures assure us that God does listen to the prayer of those who are facing hindrances. And that’s the reason why those who might be turning away from The Way, or those who might have already turned their backs to The Lord – provided they take honest attitudes and provided they acknowledge their error – will have their prayer answered by The One who is The Almighty, The One who’s Love Himself. The Creator of all things displayed his kind and forgiving character in favour of the children of Israel and with anybody else who may be keen on conquering deliverance, He won’t deliver them into the clutches of that evil which is causing them trouble.

The verse we’re examining above is actually an invitation for those who are engaged in serious wrongdoing, something evil they cannot let go of; so, you must see that the hand of God will set you free. You only need to recognise how doomed you are and, with faith, you must invoke The Lord who will do what it takes to fulfil His Word on your behalf.

Let the Heavenly Father know about your affliction and, thus, He’ll show you how you can straighten up your attitudes. Without Him nobody will ever be able to be delivered from evil powers; on the other hand, with help from Above nobody will continue being dominated by sin any longer because The Lord is an expert in helping those who need His unique intervention.

In Christ, with love,
