All who are under the yoke of slavery should consider their masters worthy of full respect, so that God's name and our teaching may not be slandered. 1 Timothy 6.1

In the days when Paul wrote to Timothy, it was common for the rich to have servants. Nowadays, the system changed a bit; today, they are not servants but employees. By the way, those who are in an unfavorable financial situation may improve and rise to a higher social class. It’s important to say that our mission is to lead people from any economic and financial system to God, and not engage ourselves in social struggles.

The servants who converted should treat their masters as worthy of all honor. Similarly, employees should act this way toward their employers, because they have an ability that makes them withstand the crises and the market competition, where in many cases, are very wild. Employers play an important role in helping his employees live with dignity

God does not promote or endorse the rules established by nations, but rather gives impulse and ratifies His work to save everyone. Those who are illuminated by the Word of the Lord can and should live well, take better care of themselves, their families and neighbors. This causes the Gospel to be admired, desired and respected even by followers of other religions. The Gospel is the only Way to God.

As members of the Body of Christ, and therefore, as citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven, we must cooperate in every way so that the name of God and the biblical doctrine will not be blasphemed. Now, the Good News is the revelation of Christ’s work in favor of humanity. Therefore, we do not need to fight against other religions or governments, but rather teach the Truth.

The masters who were converted should not be neglected, but better served. It’s a mistake to wish evil on those who grew in life. In fact, all those who convert must follow the divine orientations, for the blessing of the Lord assures them prosperity. In fact, the Scriptures say that God’s children can lend to anyone, but will borrow from none (Deut 28.12).

No one is excluded from the benefits of salvation by any human reason. No matter the origin, skin color or culture of an individual; all of them are invited to share the inheritance in Christ. The more heirs that appear, the greater will be our share of participation for all eternity, because the increase of participants provides a great reward to those who made them so.

This direction should be taught to everyone, and that’s the way the Lord wants you to live. So, if you find yourself full of problems, go to the house of God, and there you will find everything you need. If it´s forgiveness, healing, prosperity and other blessings, they will be given to you abundantly.

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares

True Lord! Paul's instructions to Timothy should be part of our doctrine. We cannot accept that our brethren in Christ, that work for non believers, act like those who are lost, because they should be your servants at all times.

How many employers would convert if they were estimated as worthy of honor? They would see the difference that the Gospel makes in those who received Christ. May Your name and Your doctrine never be blasphemed.

You are not confirming or promoting the rules established by the nations, but Your work to save all people. May the converted masters never be despised, but served in the best way. That way, many will want to serve You as well.
