For you shall not go out with haste, Nor go by flight; For the LORD will go before you, And the God of Israel will be your rear guard. Isaiah 52:12

The exodus of the saved from false doctrine is something marvelous and most important in God’s sight, for He himself will protect their front and their back.  This is why nobody should fear a threat of the devil nor act like Lot’s curious wife, looking back (Genesis 19:26).  Our retreat exemplifies what will happen on the last day, when, after obeying the Lord, we will march on to the Kingdom prepared for us since the founding of the world. (Matthew 25:34)

Believers do not hurry but they also do not delay in obeying the divine call.  Everything is timed by the Lord, and for this reason it is impossible to be attacked by the enemy.  To the contrary we will be the ones to harm them.  If we heed divine direction, many people will follow us in this blessed march.

Nothing is hidden to the eyes of the Lord (Hebrews 4:13). Therefore we need to cleanse ourselves of the filth of false doctrine, which can corrupt even the most saintly among God’s children.  The enemy knows that if our clothing is stained we will be excluded from those that will leave Babylon and other like places that harbor the enemies’ homes.  We must be Holy for our God is Holy! ( 1 Peter 1:16)

The work that gives us the right to leave sin behind has been carried out by the Lord on the cross, and though we do not see how to leave this place of doubt, the moment we answer to the Word, we will be shifted from this place of illusion to the real Kingdom.  There are cases where people suffered so great a brain washing, that they will need more time to understand that all that they learned is useless in the New Jerusalem.

God is He who chooses how and when to do what.  We are servants that took the decision to serve only Him so that in the right moment we will know exactly how and what to do. (Ecclesiastes 8:5)  Remember that our battle will never be against flesh and blood (Ephesians 6:12), so we should show our love to those who remain there.  Acting this way, we will save many from the fire.  We will please the Father if we follow these directions. 

Israel left Egypt without wounding one Egyptian, found grace in the eyes of these people and was granted their requests, that they be given vessels of silver and gold (Exodus 12:35). We too will leave in peace.  When the master of all evil comes after us, he will find his perdition in the sea that God will open for us the spiritual world.  Just as the pharaoh did not harm one Israelite, none of Jesus’ sheep will be harmed. 

Make yourself holy by the Word, for in the battle waged for your life, you cannot be seen as one who did the enemy’s bidding.  If you have fallen in sin, repent now so that when the right time comes to leave you will not be left behind.  Remember, the Israelite who did not smear the lamb’s blood on the threshold would lose his firstborn.
