Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. John 17.24

This prayer closes Jesus’ teaching, which began in chapter 14, and which has great importance for those who seek the Lord for the most varied reasons. You would undoubtedly be successful in any field if you had the precepts of God’s Word ministered to your heart. Anyone will grow a lot in life if they decide to learn directly from the Source that created all things. God is waiting for us (Revelation 3:20)!

In four chapters, the Master spoke about us, instructing us to do the work He started and not stop in any way. The secret to making your dreams come true lies in knowing the Scriptures (2 Timothy 3:14-17). Those who are willing to learn from Jesus will succeed in any matter, whether physical or spiritual (Matthew 11.29). He continues in the ministry of making victorious disciples.

The Lord said that it was His heart’s desire that wherever He was, we would be too, both in the glory of being used by Him in counsel and guidance and in other works. Jesus’ disciples swept the world with the message of the Cross, leading multitudes to live in the best and most accurate technique of receiving the answers they needed from Heaven. The decision to become wise or remain far from God’s presence is in our hands!

We were with Christ when He received our sins, our transgressions and all the evil that men would have to go through. Therefore, by believing in His work on our behalf, we are free (Galatians 2:20; 6:14). From the very beginning of the Church, when Jesus went from town to town, village to village, bringing healing, deliverance and other gifts to those who would listen to Him, people soon understood that the main thing was to believe in Him wholeheartedly. They soon witnessed the blessings (Acts 5:14-16).

Everything has already been accomplished. In other words, Christ was telling the Father that we would no longer have problems with physical, moral and spiritual suffering, including any temptation that might come upon humanity (1 Corinthians 10:13). Therefore, we can declare that we are free forever! There are people who don’t get the longed-for manifestation of God’s power because they haven’t sought Him out. Now, Jesus said that we must know Him (Matthew 11:29). Believe and be blessed!

We have been with Christ on the Cross and in Hell, when He took back from the devil the authority stolen from Adam in the Garden of Eden. So the enemy no longer has it and never will again. The evil one can even tempt us, but if we don’t give him a place in our hearts, he will lose the battle and won’t be able to oppress us. By learning from Christ, we will never be defeated again!

We need to see the glory given to the Master, what it means to share in it. The love bestowed on Him dates back to the creation of the world, when the Father gave Him the commandments and He carried them out. The same love makes us operators in the work of restoring all things. Wake up, Church!

In Christ, with love,

God, Revealer of Your glory! We want to be with Jesus, to learn how to use everything you have prepared so that we can emerge from the midst of the defeated and overcome as Your Son overcame. We will seek Your presence! Thank you, holy Father!

We were with Him on the Cross, when He received our sins and our transgressions, as well as the sicknesses and diseases from which we thought it impossible to be delivered! Now, by determining the blessing in Your Name, You will bring it about!

Today, we are with Jesus, for You have seated us in Him. You have placed us where Your Son is, so we can carry out Your work, certain that we are doing good. In the past, the devil acted in the world as a commander, but we reign here in Your Name, Father!
