Remember me, O LORD, with the favor You have toward Your people.

Psalm 106:4a

Jesus taught that only he who asks receives (Matthew 7:8a). So, if you want the Lord to remember you, open your mouth with faith and make your request. However, do not ask what you need, but rather what the Spirit of God teaches because this is His will for your life. Once you have understood that He has promised you something – or if you need to make a request – there is no need to wait, for what He reveals has already been given to you. However, if revelation tells you that what you have asked will be done after some time, then you have to respect it.
Maybe there are people who think it\’s selfish of an individual to ask the Lord to remember him only, but that\’s not true. What God reveals as personal blessings should not be confused with what belongs to everyone. We should pray for the lost in order for them to be saved as well as for our other brothers and sisters to be enlightened and strengthened in faith, but we cannot forget to pray on our own behalf.
There are those who are forgetful of God, and they could not care less about what He says or about the duties that weigh on their shoulders. As to those who are obedient and doers of the word, they cannot just suppose that when the Lord wants He will remember them. Actually, one must ask – and insist – until God responds and helps them.
In the verse above, we notice that the psalmist knew that the Almighty does not favor one individual over the other, so he prayed to God to be remembered by Him with the good will which He had towards His people. It shows that the Almighty treats us equally. Therefore, those who think they are more favored by Him are sadly mistaken, after all, what sets us apart is the attitude we have with respect to the divine commandments.
When the sin committed by Adam separated us from God, instead of giving up the Lord showed goodwill towards us, creating a plan in which
every detail has been designed and put into practice to save and free mankind from the power of the enemy.
Therefore, the best thing to do is to understand what the divine projects are all about and then take possession of them with faith and determination. When God reveals something to you it means He has remembrance of you. So the most correct attitude is to enjoy the memories of the Lord.
