Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. 1 Corinthians 12.27

God’s grace is so beautiful! It is worth remembering that before we were converted, we were servants of the devil and lived according to his will (Eph 5.8). When the Lord called us to His Kingdom, He forgave us, assuring us that He would no longer remember what we did in our times of ignorance (Acts 17.30). He left us a commandment about the way we should live, and taught us to deal kindly with all people, especially with those who are of the household of faith (Gal 6.10). Therefore, our mistakes will never be thrown at our face (Jer 31.34).

The saved ones who have returned to sin are in trouble. For them, even if their neighbor is a brother in Christ, he serves only to give them profit, and in other cases, even pleasure. But those who persevere in the faith in Jesus never act in such a way. The servant of God who gives in to sin will be thrown away and will serve for nothing. The Spirit of the Lord will not contend with man forever (Gen 6.3a). Therefore, no servant of the Most High should be allowed to be used by Satan.

When the saved ones do not assume their place in the Body of Christ, the devil has them in his hands. When they do God’s will, they get connected with the Creator. By doing so, they become an indivisible and inseparable part of the wonderful Body of the Lord. Even if Satan strives to defeat you, he will not be able to do so. Since the moment that a person surrenders to the Father, He starts teaching and using this person to accomplish His will.

Being part of the Body of Christ, you are connected to the Head of this Body, the Lord Jesus. Since to Him was given all the power in Heaven and on Earth (Mt 28.18), there will be not even one time when He is invoked and does not have the capacity to answer you. Those who are conscious of their authority in the Son of God make the devil fear. Jesus is the Head, and we are the members of His Body. Therefore, you can give an end to the attacks of the devil in your life.

However, when you convert to God, you become a particular member. Thus, the Father is limited to what we do in our favor and in other people’s favor. It is through our mouth that He orders the evil spirits to leave, undoes diseases, and brings solutions to problems. Do not stop complying with the impulses that He brings, unless you want to sadden Him. You can cry out for anything, according to His will, and you will be promptly attended.

Jesus knew that the Father was in Him and He was in the Father. They are One (John 10.30). Thus, none of His determinations were unanswered. When you believe that this will work in the same way with you, and by faith, you determine that the thing that belongs to you might be given to you or accomplished, it will be done so. Since God shows no partiality, we can believe that all the promises that exist in the Scriptures belong to us.

Do not wait for magic, an angel’s visit, an inexplicable vision, or any other divine manifestation specific for you. What the Lord had to express, He already did through His Word. Whenever you understand that a biblical promise belongs to you, at the same moment, you can and should claim for it, and afterwards believe that it has already been given to you.
