04/01/2019 - NECESSARY CONFIRMATION

who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.  1 Corinthians 1:8

In our daily routine, we need the Lord to confirm us, working or not working in our favor.  Knowing that our hearts are deceitful and can’t be trusted (Jeremiah 17:9) and that they are desperately wicked, without this divine confirmation, we might stray from the Path.  With the Lord testifying our steps, we will do right until the end of our course.  This confirmation is found in our actions, our deeds, and delivers us from condemnation.

Nobody likes to remain without answer to their prayer.  Nevertheless, when this occurs it can be a warning that we are failing and must correct our ways.  So if you are going through rough times, when it seems that the sky is made of bronze – no matter how hard you strive and struggle you do not obtain the solution – check to see if there is some obstacle. If there is a stone, unless it is removed, the Almighty will not answer you.  That we may be patient and wise in order to not withdraw from the only Blesser (Deuteronomy 7:13).

It is the will of the Lord that we never stray or withdraw from the Way.  If we are admonished for how we live, this is a sure sign we have left the Way.  The servants of God should never pay heed to the devil.  The prince of darkness will do anything in his power to attract us away from our salvation.  So walk in the Spirit and reject any evil desire (Romans 8:14). With God in control, the devil will fail in his efforts!

The Almighty wants to see us in his purpose and plans, far  from the attacks of evil.  For this , besides the biblical warnings, He gave us His Holy Spirit.  We therefore have sufficient strength to resist temptations.  Seek to know the divine commandments, and they will make you wiser than all your enemies (Psalm 119.98).  Even if Satan comes personally to get you he will fail in his intention.

Strive to live above reproach.  Otherwise, undoubtedly you will suffer some form of punishment that you will not be able to bear.  However, covered by the precepts of God you will have what it takes to escape all the traps from Hell.  The aim is to be irreproachable to the end of your journey on Earth.  If you do sin, your salvation will be jeopardized.  Does this worry you?

There is no other position for the saved, except to be standing before the Holy Lamb.  Those that are not before Him will suffer forever.  Correct yourselves if you have deceived the family, the church or the authorities.  If you err and do not repent you will be condemned.
