But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

II Corinthians 11:3

The devil has deceived mankind from the very beginning and has been relentless in persuading people to believe in him. Satan\’s mission is to drag all those who have received the divine call into the lake that will burn with fire and brimstone throughout eternity. He never did any good deed and, because of his fallen nature, he never will. In fact, his ability to corrupt people is so great that the Apostle Paul feared that his children in faith might be entrapped.

God’s children need to keep an eye out for corruption, which can get them out of the divine presence. The enemy tempts us in every way: many people, for example, have fallen into adultery and many others are going in the same direction. Dishonesty and other wrongdoings have turned millions of people into prisoners of the devil and to make things worse, those who let themselves be carried away by the father of lies become insensitive to the Truth.

My brethren, the devil can offer you the man or woman of your dreams just to entrap you in his web of lies – and, unfortunately, many people have been deceived by his wiles. However, the only way to avoid falling into the evil snares is to accept the Word of God. On the other hand, the ones who fall are those who do not heed what the Scriptures say.

When man feels powerful, unattainable and in total control he is actually closer to his downfall. So each day, take up your cross because without it you will not be able to follow the Lord (Mark 8:34b). We must renounce lust, filthy practices, resentment, bitterness, hatred and any other temptation. Be always pure!

God allows us to be tempted, but never more than what we can bear. Just put a stop to the enemy’s proposals. You know what is right and what is wrong. Furthermore, everything that contradicts the Word is sheer deception whose purpose is to rob you of your salvation, of your wisdom and of the glory of being righteous. Believe me: you do not need anything that comes from the devil!

Our goal is to always be in the simplicity that is in Christ. Pride, vanity, sense of superiority or sinful thoughts are evil actions and therefore must be immediately reprimanded. Had Eve reprimanded the first word uttered by the serpent, she probably would not have fallen. But the enemy is so harmful that any conversation with him contaminates humans. Therefore, flee from all that comes from Satan.

Never forget that there is a being that struggles, day and night, to deceive you in all things and with all its capacity. The devil is so dangerous that he even tried to talk the Son of God into falling for his wiles (Matthew 4). Undoubtedly, my brother, I can assure you that he is already doing something to make you sin and if you do not watch out, you will certainly fall. So, be truthful, pray now, confess and renounce the temptations that you have accepted.

My prayer is that you may ask the Lord to forgive you and that you do not accept any more offers made by the tempter!

In Christ with Love,
