For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Galatians 3.27

After we accept Jesus as Savior, we must be baptized in the waters and in the Holy Spirit, for the work will not be complete without His covering. Without this special anointing, the Christian is empty and powerless. Even with the best intentions, without the empowerment from High, he will not be able to do God’s work in a perfect way. Do whatever you can to be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Jesus instructed the disciples to remain in the city of Jerusalem until they were baptized in the Holy Spirit from High (Lk 24.49). The Lord knew that if His disciples lacked this baptism, they would not be able to listen to His teachings and would not be guided in the Way. Without power, they would be subdued to the enemy’s desires. Only those who receive the heavenly anointing can be successful in the faith in Christ.

There is no way we can prepare to do the work of God – whether we are ministers of the Gospel or unknowledgeable – if we do not have the empowering that comes from the Spirit through baptism. In baptism, the process of conversion is completed. After you are born again, it is necessary to seek, beg, and not give up until your spirit is baptized. If it takes too long, it will certainly not come from the Most High.

Through the baptism in the waters, the saved one lets go of the body of his flesh, the body of sin. He buries the old man, has his heart circumcised, obtains the remission of sins, and leaves the waters to live new things (Rm 6.6). Through the baptism in the Holy Spirit, the child of God is submerged in the Spirit of the Lord and is filled by Him. Then, he receives the power to do the same works as Jesus did. The good news is that the promise of baptism is for all who are converted.

Without power, no one will be able to go too far. If the child of God does not receive this grace, he will not be capacitated to do the divine work. If he tries to fulfill what the heavenly Father requests, without the power of Heaven, he will achieve nothing. The work that is done without the action of the Holy Spirit is imperfect, even if the person puts all his effort. The Spirit is He who guides us in all truth and teaches us the way and time to execute what has been given us to do.

Whoever is empty of God is in danger of being filled with evil spirits. Jesus taught us that the devil, after having being expelled from a person, roams in desert places, and after not finding shelter, he returns to see how his former house is. When he sees that it is empty, clean, and adorned, he returns with other seven demons worse than him and enters into that person. The latter stage of that person is even worse than the first (Mt 12.43-45).

Do not give truce to your life. Seek the presence of God, pour out your soul, and ask the Lord to baptize you. It will not be necessary to bother Him day and night to be baptized, for this is His desire. If you feel that you must repent from a sin, do it immediately. But remember that it is by faith that you will be attended in this and in any other request.

In Christ, with love,

Powerful God! I pray so that all the readers that are already saved, but not yet with the fullness of the Holy Spirit, may be baptized. It is very important for them to receive Your Spirit, for then, they will serve You appropriately and will be delivered from all evil.

I also intercede for those who do not see the need in accepting Jesus as Savior. Break all the evil involvement in their hearts. They need to serve You in a complete way. After salvation, everyone needs this empowerment from High.

I do not understand how a Christian may be settled if he has not yet been filled by Your Spirit. The saddest thing that can happen to us is not to have enough strength to resist temptations. Therefore, help Your servants to obtain the fullness of Your wonderful Spirit.
