Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

Psalm 46:2

Fear should never be at the heart of the servants of God. Although everything signalled that there’s no reason for you to keep on trusting in the divine promises that would certainly be one more of the devil’s lies, that’s why you must never accept any hint whatsoever coming from him. Be certain that the Lord will never be subjected to any shadow of variation (James 1:7). On top of that, being children of the Most High, we are to be fearless before any adversity whatsoever because if we are fearful we’ll be saying, in other words, that we do not believe in our Father and, consequently, we’ll be lost.

Whenever we’re frightened or when we’re scared and, by doing so, we confess that there’s no way out, we’re dismissing one of Jesus’ ordinances continually repeated by Him when He turned to people and said: “Do not be afraid!” (Mark 5:36). So, if one day everything happens to seem impossible altogether, do not confess your defeat because that would be like expelling God Himself from your heart. If you don’t know what to do you must just ask Him for guidance. Then it will be as if you had just woken up from a nightmare. Besides, as you believe in the Lord, help will come indeed.

The Most High often allows us to go through a myriad of hardships for us to show Him the kind of person we are. When everything is all right it’s easy to simply pay lip service to the fact that we believe in God, but when the situation becomes tough, and it seems there’s no solution to it, only the true believers of the Lord stand out. They do not get desperate, but by trusting in the divine Word, they stand firm in the divine Verb and they make the declaration of faith.

When the situation becomes extremely chaotic, that one who, in fact, belongs to the people of God does not let the enemy frighten him. Those people who are worried, those who shout out and turn to everybody to pray for them show that they do not have a complete trust in The Father. Those who believe when everything’s all right, at the first threatening sign, show that they believe more in the enemy rather than in the Almighty. Well, The One who, out of nothing, created The Heavens and earth would not have power enough to keep His children?

Be always prepared not to swap lords whenever tribulation comes. It is written that you become a servant of the one you obey (Romans 6:16). A person who serves God never changes his mind, even though the earth is removed and the mountains are taken into the midst of the sea. If that happens you must firmly use the power of the Name of Jesus in order for everything to go back to where it originally was at first. It’s facing a serious issue, a strong hellish threat or the worst diagnosis that you can prove who you really believe in. Those who trust in the Lord must be stronger than mount Zion, the one which is never shaken (Psalm 125:1).

When the children of God show that nothing will make them stop believing in God, the weak ones cheer up, the unbelievers stand gaping and sinners get converted.

In Christ, with love,
