These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

John 16: 33

Nothing is more significant for a Christian than being always of good cheer. Yet, the devil tells lies strategically to hinder the spiritual progress of the children of God who, as members of the divine family, have become heirs and heiresses of The Lord. Those who think they won’t be able to move forwards spiritually have actually been fooled by the enemy. Now, failing to be well-spirited is, in fact, a way of turning away from The Truth; yet, when a servant of The Most High is well-spirited they’re actually being led towards victory.

Being well-spirited is one of the basic characteristics of a son of God. Those who believe in the declarations of the Most High are always brave, we can see a glow on their face and they go into the battlefield confidently. Now, those who let themselves be carried away by the enemy’s inconsistent talk usually display a quite dark look; in their countenance we can see that they’ve probably seen a quite terrifying monster and they tend to always mistrust everybody around. The Word of God assures us that nothing will be denied to those who put their trust in The Lord as long as they make their request in The Name of Jesus.

It doesn’t matter where you come from nor does your educational background; the fact of accepting Jesus as your Saviour turns you into an heir of God and an heir through Christ (Galatians 4: 7). That means that if Jesus can use His Father’s power it means that we can as well. The troubles Christians have to face do not take The Lord by surprise since He’s given us through His Word the right directions and authority so we can ultimately conquer victory.

The devil knows very well the destructive power of deceit more than anybody. When he was a Cherubim of God, a higher-ranking angel filled up with glory, he created lies and when that happened he became the filthiest accuser of the children of The Most High. Satan knows that if he manages to make you believe in a fake it turns out that you won’t be a threat to the kingdom of darkness but a puppet in his dirty hands instead. That´s the reason why you mustn’t believe in anything that goes against The Word of The Lord.

You must never say that you won’t be able to get or to possess those riches stated by God as being the ownership of His beloved children. Those who believe in the words of our Father will find out that He not only sends the information we need to move forward spiritually but also, along with it, He sends the necessary power for His work to be carried out. Now, if you say that you won’t make it then you’re putting your trust in the lies of the devil instead and, one day, you shall be accountable for it.

With a bright perspective you must focus on the statements of The Almighty. Provided He made a promise to you then you must believe that it’ll come true. Go for what belongs to you! Be of good courage, well-spirited! You must never accept any thought of defeat, because our Father only leads us triumphantly (II Corinthians 2: 14). Being God our Light whom shall we fear? If He is the Strength of our lives who shall we be afraid of? (Psalm 27: 1). Christians are exactly what The Lord tells them they are.

Don´t let fear take over your heart. Whenever you feel weak you must believe and confess that you can do all things in God, The One who strengthens you. Having The Most High as your Strength you must know that you won’t lose any battle. Nevertheless, there’s something very simple you must never forget: being of good courage, well-spirited is a basic requirement for a Christian to have The Lord walking before them, leading them towards victory.
