…being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Philippians 1:6

I am sure God will use me through this message to provide you with the guidance that will make you a conqueror. We are the crown of God\’s creation and, therefore, we will not fail. We are part of the Lord’s eternal plan and as such we will be kept by Him, even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death (Psalm 23:4); because we have been created in His image and likeness (Genesis 5:1), we will never cease to exist. He wanted people like you and me to live with Him forever, so we are of paramount importance in the eyes of our Creator.

Information such as this makes me believe that things that happen to me, either good or bad, are encompassed in God’s vision. He knows everything and therefore I believe that everything that occurs, even though they seem to be by chance, has a divine purpose. If, as mere men, we have such importance to the Creator, the more important we become by being recreated in Christ Jesus!

The minute I heard the Gospel for the first time and committed my life to the Lord, He began His good work in me. To this day He continues to do it according to His wisdom. God knows what sin has caused to each one of us. Physically, some are born with disabilities; spiritually, we are all born dead, dominated by sin, but when we accept Jesus as our savior our life changes. After that, God is in all that happens to us, perfecting us.

Even the temptations that attack us do not come by chance. He allows the enemy to try us and surround us with bad feelings, because this is all part of our improvement. The sad thing is when we disrupt the divine plan, yielding to temptations and committing sins. If you have been tempted in any area of your life, ask the Father to deliver you. It is important not to consider yourself to be an inferior individual, a dirty sinner that will never be forgiven. Being tempted does not taint us or condemns us. Now, if we yield to the temptation, then we sin.

It is true that God is in control and allows the enemy to try us because He knows the power He has given us to get rid of it. If you stand firmly in faith, as Jesus did every time He was tempted, your record will remain clean. However, if you fall into sin, you will put to shame the Lord who saved you and anointed you, who gave you power to resist the evil one by ensuring that the devil would run away from you (James 4:7).

One of the missions of the Holy Spirit is to guide us into all truth. He knows how to accomplish what He was commissioned to do. So let the Lord complete the wonderful work He began in your life, for not only did He know you would go through this, but He was also aware that with the power He has given you, you would be able to avoid falling and would come out stronger of any crisis. Do all you can for the Lord to be glorified!

In Christ with love,

R. R. Soares
