23/11/2014 - OPEN HIS EYES THAT HE MAY SEE

And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 2Kings 6.17

Without Elisha’s prayer, the young man that served him was not able to see that the Omnipotent was going to protect them. This happens to all those who do not have the anointing from High. The enemy always tries to defeat us with all his might. Thus, if a person is not firmed upon the Word, seeing the invisible and hearing the inaudible, despair will take over him. It is not enough to be beside a man of God; it is necessary to be the subject of his prayer.

Elisha’s request was not so that the heart of that young man would be comforted. The prophet knew that the young man needed to participate in the divine operation, but that if he did not see what God was doing, he would not have believed. Elisha contemplated the divine miracle by faith, for he knew that the Most High would not fail him. He who has faith has the ingredients for victory. It is more important to deposit your trust in the Word of the Lord than in any sacrifice or prayer.

A fundamental lesson is to trust in the fact that the person that is placed in the direction of the divine work should pray that his coworkers understand God’s operation. The best way of understanding is by faith. Those who have communion with the Lord are never surprised. The tactics used by the devil only work when people are not firm on the Rock. Those who trust in Him do not fear or cower.

Only the Most High has the power to attend requests. In the case of Elisha’s young servant, his eyes had to be opened so that he could see how spiritual warfare worked. Now, the battles faced by those who belong to God are never lost. The Assyrians had the strength of arms, and Elisha, the divine power. One prayer made the enemy soldiers get blind, so that they were surrendered to the King of Israel. Understand that the purpose of the battle of faith is to glorify the Lord.

The servant of the prophet was stunned when all the army of Assyria became blind. This shows what we can do to the demons that attack us. Jesus has given us the power to arrest and set free. Therefore, we do not need to get desperate with any news that is sent against us. When we use the authority in the Name of Jesus, the enemy loses the capacity to accomplish the orders of his boss.

The mountains around us will always be filled with heavenly power. Those who are under the authority of the Heavens are involved by the Lord God, who is a consuming fire (Hb 12.29). Therefore, never be afraid of fulfilling the Word. The evil one will try, by all means, to take you away from the presence of the Most High to accomplish his evil purposes.

Yet those who serve the Heavenly Father must have full assurance that He is their Help, and that they must not fear nor flee their battles. The enemy’s direct or indirect threats will never prosper if you are firm in what God has told you. Inside the Word, there is the necessary power for your deliverance.

In Christ, with love,

Oh God, how we learn with Your Word! If we do not pray for our coworkers so that they see Your protection, they will remain without knowing what You have prepared. We know that You always keep all those that trust in You with all of their hearts.

May everyone be in Spirit, so that they don’t fall “asleep” at work and then have the enemy regain advantage. This shows us that the workers still can’t see or feel everything that goes on; however, with our prayer, they will understand why we trust in You.

Your horses and chariots of fire will be sent to rescue us. They work today like an antimissile system. The weapons You have given us are greater and better than all of those that mankind has ever discovered. Thank You for keeping us!
