Sing to the LORD, bless His name; proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.
Psalm 96:2,3
Singing to the Lord is more than just resounding songs of faith, like we do most of the time. When we sing to Him, and not just about Him, we make other people realize that what we´re singing is real, and that it produces peace inside our hearts and makes us want to know Him better. This way, everyone listening will want to join us in praise. When our soul sings to our Father, everybody else is also blessed.
To bless the name of the Lord is to use it against forces of evil, demanding that all sickness, pain and demons leave. The truth is that one day everyone shall adore the name that is above all names and that is known in both kingdoms (Romans 14:11; Philippians 2:9,10). When a non-believer watches a demon-possessed person being freed from evil, at first they are scared, but at the same time, they recognize that two forces are acting in this kind of situation: good and evil.
To proclaim salvation daily is to always proclaim the Gospel – the good news. In this Holy message there is always enough power to solve all of humanity’s problems. Therefore, it doesn’t matter who’s listening to us or what’s afflicting them. If we preach without ceasing, everyone around us shall see the difference between those who are religious people and the ones who really put the Word into practice; this way they’ll be able to make the right decision.
Whether we’re at work, or travelling, or anywhere else, this must be done all the time. (2 Timothy 4:2) Don’t feel discouraged if people hate you because you insist. If this happens, it’s because you’re annoying the demons that possess their lives, and these demons won’t resist for much longer. The kingdom of darkness will always try to impede you from dedicating yourself to the Lord; pray for these people, and ask God for wisdom.
We must not just talk about our Christian religion or philosophy; we must behave like people who are problem-solvers. We must take God’s glory to people, and this surpasses any religion. If you are taken to a church, and the glory of the Lord is with you, in little time people will start looking for you and surrender to the Lord. The glory of God is what we should announce.
Likewise, we should preach to every people – rich or poor, cultured or not – about the wonders that God operates. This is because there is a feeling of the divine reality inside human beings, whether they’re atheists, agnostics or religion fanatics. People long to see their Creator in action, dominating evil and freeing those who are oppressed by the power of the enemy.
When we announce this in the power of the Holy Spirit, no one can resist. Those who were against the Gospel will bow before the spiritual reality that our Lord establishes and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
