“The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; yes, I have a good inheritance.” (Psalm 16:6)
All children of God have a share in the spiritual world and are endowed with divine gifts in order to act as true authorities. So, as they receive the anointing of God and follow His guidance, they can do the same works that Jesus would do (John 14:12). The inheritance we have in Christ is much bigger than what we can imagine. In fact, within our calling there is enough power to defeat any evil forces that might get in our way; after all the Word states that we are more than conquerors in all things (Romans 8:37).
However, we cannot say to the Lord that we want this or that ministry because He knows the reason why He called us to do His work and He knows what we can do with His help. Now, the gifts granted to us, and also those that will be granted, are the best things He has in store for us! Therefore, let us not be rebellious and lazy and whiny. Let us just allow the Most High to guide us because in this way we will see that His plan for our lives is simply marvellous.
My brethren, the place where God puts you, the revelations He grants you and the anointing He pours out on your life testify to the fact that your land of promise was carefully chosen. Therefore, be thankful to the Father and consecrate yourself fully in doing His will by never letting the devil, who is a liar, embed in your mind the wrong notion that somebody else’s calling is better than yours. You will see that He has loved you even when choosing the smallest details.
We must have a positive outlook regarding the Word of God. David had that understanding and thanked the Lord by saying that the lines of his inheritance had fallen to him in pleasant places. To Him there were no bad or unproductive lands; after all the reason why the Almighty had put him in a certain place was because he could find everything he needed there. To the psalmist God was righteous and loved righteousness; therefore His plans could only be the best.
He who lets envy get into his heart does not believe in God. The envious is usually moaning and coveting what belongs to other people. We must never allow the enemy to make us stop believing in the righteous share of the Lord and in the place He gave us in His work. We must never let the enemy cause us to stop believing in the fair share made by the Lord and in the place which He has given us in His work. On the contrary, we must show Him gratitude and strive to give and get the best of our Father.
There is nothing better than serving the Lord with a cheerful heart. In so doing, we never lack the revelations of the Word, the deliverance and the help we need in due time. Do not allow your mouth to utter lies and do not believe in the lies you are told. Your inheritance in Christ is beautiful and unmatched!
In Christ, with love,
