“In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,” (Ephesians 1:13)

The apostle Paul was brilliantly used by the Lord to write the epistle to the Ephesians which is profound and full of revelations. One of them states that we’re in Christ and that’s tremendous. We don’t only belong to the people of God; we’re also part of His Son. We’re inseparable and we’re rooted in Him. Our problems and woes can’t be strong enough to make any of our brethren depressed. Those who are rooted in the Son of God have all the power at their disposal to overcome any assaults from our enemy. Being in Him is certainly the greatest privilege anyone can have.

It’s the Word of the Truth Itself that testifies to that benefit. There’s nothing more important we can do for our neighbors than sharing the Gospel of Jesus with them. The Good News has the capacity within Itself to take those who are distant from The Truth – however distant they might be – closer to the Lord. The blessed Gospel of the Kingdom of God is exactly what everybody needs in order to be delivered from satanic snares.

It’s called the Gospel of salvation. Our generation needs to clearly and plainly hear that message which provides the hearts with reconciliation with our Father. That’s precisely why we’ve been commissioned by Jesus to go all around the world and give our peers – whether they want it or not – the opportunity to also get out of the empire of darkness and to be transformed in beloved children of the Most High (Mark 16:15).

The key to that secret is when we fully believe in the Word of God which is His power. We are not supposed to preach our church’s doctrine, and to fight for its growth and raise any preacher. We must bear in mind the importance of making the whole world believe in the Good News which states that Jesus Christ came to Earth to save mankind. We’re not interested in those things the worldly people seek. We have a mission and we need to carry it out, that’s why we have been called up.

All those who believe in the Gospel of Jesus are sealed by the Holy Spirit of the promise. The seal of the Most High’s lordship proves that we’re God’s possession. It is a guarantee that we won’t be ashamed on the last day. Yet, we need to seek God’s gifts and bear the fruits of His Spirit. That’s how we’ll show everyone the difference between being religious and being real doers of the Word.

The world needs to see that we belong to God and that we’re in Christ. The least we can do is the following: be respectful to the Lord; live in holiness; say “no” to all temptations and preach the blessed Gospel with words and attitudes. So, be wise!

In Christ, with love,
