Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the Lord will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared. Proverbs 3.25,26

God cannot protect the one who doesn’t keep his Word. This warning, which is the study base, has not been given to be discarded. The wise should keep the words of the Lord and pay attention so, when the enemy suddenly attacks them with something fearful, they can remain steady and unshakable. Nothing can make God happier than seeing his children keeping his Word.

If the doctor shakes his head negatively indicating your case is serious, he might be speaking the truth. However, you should walk by faith in Jesus not by sight (2Co 5.7)-  to what the exams points to. So then, the right thing to do is to enter into the Lord´s presence and show your diagnosis to Him, trusting in what the Word says, and with a strong prayer in the name of Jesus, condemn such an evil act.

The devil pictures the situation as dark as possible as if there was no solution to God’s children; then, many come to believe in the enemy and despise what the Lord declares in the Scripture and consequently the devil will be able to materialize that lie in the life of the servant of the Almighty. Be strong before any bad news because you have the Word, which is eternal and unchangeable, in which the Omnipotent assures you that He will keep your foot from being snared.

Undoubtedly, the people of God have experienced great suffering due to disastrous reaction against bad news. Just like the Gospel – the Good News of the Heavenly Kingdom – is good, the bad news from hell can cause a great damage. If you are not alert, you will believe in the false talk of the enemy which will cause you great harm. Remember that your feet are kept from being snared.

Fear can be a sudden horror, but for the one who is steady on the promises, it means nothing. Even though all things indicate that your case is serious, if you truly believe in what the Lord says and claim for the change of your condition, trusting that the change is taking place, not letting doubt arouse in your heart, and confessing every single symptom, as God says, whatever you ask for will happen (Mk 11.23).

The devastation of the wicked is like a violent storm. But to those who are in good shelter, it causes problems but it doesn’t touch them. So, abide in God, who is your fortress, thus, you will suffer no loss.  (Psalm 46). After the storm, heaven will seem so beautiful. Thus, be steady and strong and pay attention not to let the devil lead you, thus, the Lord will confirm what He has said about you.
