The greatest assurance we have in God is His Covenant with us in the blood of Jesus. Through it, we can claim the promises that compose it. The Lord is Responsible for everything in the Scriptures, from a commandment to a veiled promise to bless us (2 Peter 1.21). Whoever walks in His ways will undoubtedly succeed (Psalm 1.1-3). However, we must not seek only the revelations we like best. We must do all of the Father’s will, by loving Him (John 14.21).
In the Word, we find everything that belongs to us. When some promise is revived to us, we soon need to take hold of it, because this means that God has given His testimony that it is to be used (James 1.22). Now, every saved person has to put faith into action in order to receive or fulfill a mission. Why be slack when the Lord warns us that there will be a Day of reckoning? (Luke 12.43). Do what He tells you and you will live a blessed life.
Jeremiah was to hear the words of that covenant, which came with full power to those who believe. If they refused to heed them, they would be considered careless. In the same way, anyone who knows what God has given him to feed his flock or his family, but has done nothing, will be considered guilty of the people’s downfall. Never fail to deliver the Lord’s message to the people (Ezekiel 33:7,8). You cannot err with regards to holy duty!
In possession of God’s message, the prophet had to convey it to everyone, those in Judah as well as those in Jerusalem. We are responsible for those whom the Father places under our care. Cain, referring to the brother whom he had killed, answered the Lord wickedly: I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper? (Genesis 4.9b). It is not good to be rude to the One who knows all things, but to turn to Him for compassion and mercy!
Today, we must give our utmost attention to what catches our attention in the Scriptures. There, God shows us what to say to those who come to us to know His will or to receive blessings. We must be good stewards of heavenly goods, because for this we have come into the Kingdom of Heaven (1 Peter 4.10). In it, there is no place for rascals, but for servants whose pleasure is to obey the Almighty. Take care of yourself!
Just as Jeremiah had the task of speaking to the people of Judah, we have this same calling in relation to those who, through our ministry, try to meet the Lord. So let us do good while we are here and it is day (John 9.4). After our departure for eternity, or when the darkness mentioned by Jesus comes, nothing more can be done. Whoever you are, take up your mission and fulfill it with excellence, knowing that you serve and love Christ.
Jesus gave an account of His stewardship, saying, I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do (John 17.4). What account will you give at the Judgment, when lies and deceit will not be allowed, for it will be the Day of Truth? Be prepared not to be shocked or surprised by the seriousness of the One who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Do this now!
In Christ, with love,

Oh God! It’s good to know that You love us and have given each of us the blessing of being Light bearers. The world needs us to be faithful servants, not deceivers, who disguise themselves as good sheep, but inside are wolves!
We desire the ability to hear You and to know the laws of the Covenant made with us by Christ in His death. He is the Mediator of this Covenant, so we cry to You to help us understand Your purpose, of which we are ministers!
We want to be not only sons, but obedient sons, who announce to the lost the plan of salvation executed on the Cross. We will speak to men everywhere and in Your house too, for that is why we have come into Your Kingdom. Thank You for loving us!
