It is important to follow the instructions of the Most High in our actions, for He always has a plan to rid us of the enemy or defeat him. Revenge belongs to the Lord, and we are the people He uses to fulfill His Word. When there seems to be no way out, the Omnipotent comes up with His plan and gives us the victory. The Lord’s servant has no problems, but opportunities to reveal the God of the solution.
Upon learning of the victories of the children of Israel, Og king of Bashan was distressed and did not wait for Israel to go up the road to his land to know of their intention, because to him it was likely that Moses had done the same with the other kings. The Amorite king did not know that the Lord knows the hearts of all people. Og tried to destroy Israel, but we need not even tell the end!
When we accept Jesus as Savior, we need to know Him as the Bible portrays Him, the way He acts, and how we should proceed because we are in the divine plan. No one enters God´s Kingdom without a mission to accomplish. Read the Bible and always attend services. Often what you read in it will be taught by your pastor without his knowledge of the word you read.
The saved must stand firm before anyone who wants to hurt them. The enemy will not be able to stand before them, for they are guided by God. The Lord will guide them in all things, to the smallest detail. Therefore, be fearless in doing what is at hand; after all, God’s children will never be abandoned or forsaken. As difficult as the mission may seem, when you finish it, you will be amazed to see how easy it was.
Just before they took the way to Bashan, Moses sent to spy out Jazer, and they immediately took it, as well as its villages. This territory was later given to the Levites (Joshua 21:39). The great Og and his people were fully armed, but the Israelites, unafraid of them, faced them and came out victorious. No one succeeds when rising up against God’s people, because the Almighty fights for His people.
When the hellish forces come out against the servants of the Omnipotent, they cannot succeed in their onslaught. Now, who can fight the Lord? In all ages, He will always be leading His people; therefore, never fear the devil´s threats, for not a hair from your head will fall if it is not divine will. No matter who starts the battle, the enemy will be defeated!
Israel smote Og king of Bashan, like it had struck Sihon king of Heshbon. So shall it be to all the wicked spirits that rise up against the holy people. In no time, the Amorites army was destroyed, and the Israelites took their land. The lands of Sihon, Jazer, and Og were the first to be taken by Israel.

God, war strategist! Within a few days, Israel already had a large territory available to set part of Your people. Sihon and Og saw that attacking them would surely lead to a defeat. Whoever helps us will be helped too. Halleluiah!
You will face anyone who thinks he can defeat us. If they had a good heart and let Your people pass, they would be rewarded, but because they did not fear You they were destroyed. Help us never to disrupt up Your holy work!
May Your hands reach out to those who do their best to fulfill Your plans. We plead that no one should rise up against Your people, nor suffer the punishment of the wicked. We pray for those who have helped us!
