Christ didn’t promise a sea of roses for His followers; to the contrary, He said there would be afflictions in the world (John 16:33). The Lord is the only Way and just those who persevere until the end, independently of how much they suffer for loving justice, will be saved. We should study this in the Bible, because it is only through Jesus that we will escape from eternal perdition.
From Genesis to Revelation, the Biblical message is: trust in the Lord, or you will be sent to hell. Even after six decades serving the Lord, I am still amazed at how people are so worried about their future on earth but don’t really care about guaranteeing eternal joy. That is absurd!
What would be your reaction if you found out a group of people was planning to highjack you, take you to a forest and tie you up to a tree? There you’d be visited by poisonous spiders, snakes and beasts, completely helpless until your rescue was paid for; then, you’d look for a safe place. That forest can’t even be compared to hell!
The Word says: Trust in Him, you people. But many people “don’t have time” to come to church, to read the Bible daily and to pray until they find the Lord. This is tragic! The devil doesn’t play around; he walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). When you pass away (which could happen in years from now or sooner), the outcome will be irreversible, even if everybody prays on your behalf.
We should trust the Lord at all times; during scarcity, in difficult times, in abundance and in seasons of prosperity, when everything is much easier. Unfortunately, we dedicate ourselves to everything, except preparing to live eternally with the Most High. Many people will be sorry when Jesus returns, for they will be unprepared! Be vigilant and live under the Word!
Scriptures guide us to surrender our hearts before the Lord, because this is the time to determine our position for centuries and centuries to come. Take a stand in Christ! Jesus wasn’t exaggerating when He described the place where the lost will live; here’s the truth: those who don’t have oil in their lamps will be left out from the Kingdom of Heaven (read Matthew 25:1-13).
Don’t think that the Lord is just someone who will guard you from the action of the kingdom of darkness. He is also our Savior, who will guide us to heaven! Don’t go to bed without making things right with God, because if Christ returns tonight, what would happen to you? The Lord is our refuge!
In Christ, with love,

Father! It is unfortunate what will happen to those who don’t surrender to You and don’t accept You with all their heart. The most important subject in life seems to be forgotten by the majority of people. Lord have mercy!
I need Your help to pray for those who follow me. Without a doubt, many think just about the things they will lose when Jesus returns, like money, material and worldly things. Wake up those who are asleep!
May all make things right with You right now and come to know the Truth, leaving their sins behind and consecrating themselves to You! By doing that, Your return won’t catch them by surprise. Save the lives of those who have been touched by Your love!
