Therefore I praised the dead who were already dead, More than the living who are still alive. Ecclesiastes 4:2

When oppression roams freely in the midst of humanity, and there is no one with the authority to stop them, happy are those who died, for they have already been freed from such afflictions. What to do if people of faith do not act as they should? Today, with the defeat of darkness, when Jesus dethroned the king of wickedness, the Lord’s servants have the power to deliver those oppressed by evil forces. Deliverance is guaranteed!

If the Christian is silent or fails to consecrate himself to be used by the Lord, the devil will continue to destroy the lives of those without biblical understanding. The Master’s order for us is: “Go all over the world and free those who have no knowledge of the Truth”. The Gospel is the Good News of what Jesus did for man on the cross of Calvary. There are many people to be set free in the Name of Christ!

In fact, no one needs to live under the devil´s yoke, because when Jesus died, He descended to Hell and destroyed the power of death – Satan´s nature. But if people do not hear the preaching of the Gospel or witness the proper demonstration of power – like the Master did – they will not believe. Without the signs, what we say about faith in God is like a message from any religion.

In John 6:2, it is written that a great multitude followed the Savior, because they watched His actions on behalf of the sick. In the same way, they will follow us when they bear witness of the Holy Spirit working wonders. They will give credit to the Truth, because what matters is divine confirmation. Upon the prodigies that will follow our preaching, everyone will believe!

In a way, you can understand what the writer of the book of Ecclesiastes said. Actually, he was used by God in the Old Testament when no one operated the power of the Lord. However, today, we are called upon to heal the sick, deliver the oppressed, give sight to the blind, make paralytics walk and even resurrect the dead. Why doesn’t that happen? Probably those who do not obey this command do not believe in Him!

Those who live today need to know the hidden mystery since the foundation of the world, revealed on the day Jesus began His ministry. He said: For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you (John 13:15). Our talents have to be multiplied, so we need to keep those words. Upon returning the same amount, a servant was called evil and cast into outer darkness (Matthew 25: 26-30).

Jesus taught that the wicked and careless servant will be sent to where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, and not in the dungeon to pay for what he failed to do. Let the saved put into practice what they were commanded to do; thus, they will not suffer eternal loss. Instead of judging whether the punishment was too harsh, think how much God values a lost soul.
