The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ—He is Lord of all. Acts 10:36

Peter’s message in the house of Cornelius – a roman Capitan and merciful man, who loved the Lord in a beautiful way – was preached under an anointing that’s above the one mentioned in this verse. When that happened, the Lord poured out the Holy Spirit upon those who were present. The apostle announced peace through Jesus Christ, who has the power to concede salvation and new birth. In this lesson, we will talk about the peace that surpasses all understanding.

A person’s true identity is in their spirit, where there is power to accept or reject something. Not every time what is thought to be good is really good. Those who accept things without examining them will realize they’re not acting under the fear of God and will run into trouble. Because we’re participants in divine nature, we must learn to protect ourselves completely, standing firm in the faith of our Lord.

Our spirit is where the Most High inhabits; therefore, it must be protected with maximum security. The Most High doesn’t inhabit in anything that’s sinful. Those who long to have the celestial Father in their lives should live in holiness, without which no one will see Him (Hebrews 12:14). Do your best to live according to what the Bible says; otherwise, you will lose your peace and see the enemy acting again.

Those who are led by perversity at some point will realize they’re evil. Conscious of their acts and of who’s living in their heart, if they’re not delivered from oppression urgently, they won’t rise with the Lord Jesus when He returns. People who oscillate in their love for God open a door for the kingdom of the evil one. The return of the enemy brings along seven worse spirits than the ones that had been cast out (Luke 11:24-26). Lord have mercy!

The unexplainable peace of God is what conserves our spirit. Even if all human capacity was focused on one person, no one would be able to understand the meaning of this peace! But there’s nothing better than experiencing it. The wicked, when they understand who they are, will pay a high price for their unthought and tragic decision. Enjoy the peace of the Lord!

Without a doubt, if there’s something we should do, it is to preserve our inner peace. By not doing that, we will become the home of wicked beings and will live an unsettled life. Many have already experienced the best from God, but because of their irresponsibility in His presence, they allowed the evil one to dominate them and were possessed.

Your feelings can only be preserved by celestial peace. Since you have been saved, they should be kept in a state of purity and perfection all the time. However, if you’re not vigilant, your life will be surrendered to immorality. I hope you will receive and find peace through Jesus Christ, our beloved Savior!

In Christ, with love,

Dr. Soares

Lord! We want to be sustained by You so we will never stumble in life. And when the enemy tries to surround us with his lies, we will look to You and be filled with Your peace, which is our solution.

Your peace is immeasurable! We can rest assured that it is beyond what we need and it has the capacity of keeping us safe. May Your peace constantly surround us so there will be no space for the devil in us.

Thank You for defending our heart so we won’t be susceptible to the forces of darkness. We also thank You because You give us the power to guard our feelings in Christ Jesus. You are amazing in everything!
