He will also go before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, ‘to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,’ and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” Luke 1:17

The prophecy about John the Baptist was short, but it made it clear who would be the forerunner of Jesus. No matter how much the Lord speaks about you; This is enough for you to successfully complete your mission. God is not a man to be unaware of a person’s ability, so he sometimes gives him more weight than he can seemingly carry. The Most High knows everything!

John was to go before the Messiah in the spirit and virtue of Elijah. That would be enough! Likewise, when called by God, keep in mind that He has already provided for you to speak, decide, or do. The important thing is to be at the feet of the Almighty and obey Him.

He who goes on in Elijah’s spirit and virtue acts as God wills. It is wonderful to know that you are being guided by Who is perfect, complete and powerful. Thus he will perform with praise what he has been commanded. Don’t be afraid that something new or powerful might come up to block your walk. Remember: by resurrecting, Jesus defeated the devil forever. Hallelujah!

John the Baptist’s task was to convert the hearts of the fathers to the children, and to perform it as the Father pleased, he was anointed from on high. Today, in calling people to His harvest, the Lord instructs them. However, the devil tries to make them believe they are unprepared. Then they, who are weak in faith and mind, ask those around them to intercede for them.

You have a duty to fulfill. If you don’t know what it is, you stopped giving yourself to God as you should. Those who enjoy spending time in prayer for the purpose of drawing close to the Savior know what to do. The Father is perfect in His actions, so believe that He has enabled you to do His work efficiently. But again, I must live before Christ.

Every assignment given by the Lord is very relevant, noble. Then no one should envy someone else’s call, but pray that their own mission will please God. He likes to see His children happy, doing their best to reward them with something else. Now negligent will never please the Lord, even if they work hard.

God’s calling has one goal: that we prepare a willing people for Him. Keep that in your mind; thus, no one will refer to you as a bad Christian, someone impatient or who has abused his innocence.

In Christ, with love,

R. R. Soares

Our good preparer! It makes us good students, diligent disciples, and people who never complain about everything and everyone. By giving us a ministry, You equip us with what is necessary for our walk with You.

We never read that John the Baptist was relapsed or inconvenient in any situation. In fact, he was the right man for that time. In our day, You have taught us to do Your will in the midst of corrupt and lost humanity. Do not let us go astray for nothing.

We need to make disciples, turning the hearts of parents to their children and giving the best guidance, so that the rebels may return to prudence. We are preparing a people to serve You in a good mood. We are grateful for enabling us. Amen!
