25/04/2020 - REDEEMED FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW

 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”  Galatians 3:13

For whatever reason, anyone who disregarded the Mosaic Law, called the law of death, was afflicted with curses. Now it was impossible to fulfill his precepts, because no one was born again, and all had their nature in the hands of the devil. No matter how hard anyone tried to fulfill it, he would not be able to get rid of the heavy penalty for failing to follow his commandments. What a dilemma!

The Gospel, called the perfect law of liberty, is different from that of Moses, for there is no penalty for those who reject it now. However, whoever despises the Good News is in a spiritual position in which he is struck by the oppression of the enemy. The difference is that Jesus fulfilled the rigors of the old Law. Therefore, the faithful saved cannot be struck by any evil.

Curses include all sufferings, from allergies to incurable diseases, as well as other kinds of ills that embarrass and destroy the human being. It is good to refer to the list recorded in Deuteronomy 28: 15-68. It’s unbelievable! There are people aware of the danger to which they are exposed, but they do not rush back into the arms of the Most High.

It is good to look closely at these verses and see if in your life there are any of them oppressing you. Now Christ has delivered us from the curse of the law, becoming a curse in our place. This should be the basis for our prayers. Therefore, do not accept any evil from the opponent. But those who do not obey God’s Word are exposed to the actions of darkness. Watch and pray!

Jesus was hung on the cross so that we could live free from evil. Therefore, He commanded us to preach the Gospel – the Good News of the Kingdom of God – to every creature. Those who hear and believe in the preaching of the Law of Liberty can declare themselves free from their anguish. In addition to being untouchable by the devil, we now have access to the gifts won by the patriarch Abraham in life.

In the Scriptures, you discover such blessings for our faith father and his offspring, which we are spiritually. As you discover any of them, issue your ownership statement. Everything that you need today or will need in the near or distant future has been posted to your account, just believe it and claim it. The Lord went to the cross for us!

Here is another promise Jesus made in removing the curse from us: we can receive the Comforter. Today, instead of leaving our house vacant, empty and adorned, we can fill it with the excellent Dweller, the Holy Spirit of God. Enjoy being saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit.
