The only Foundation on which we can build our lives is the Word of God. Nothing but the Truth sets us free, even if the empire of darkness has the power to make things seem real (2 Corinthians 11.13-15), but they are not and never will be the truth. There is no substitute for the Foundation, the Lord Jesus. Therefore, never bother to use any other means!
Everything we do in life is like erecting a building. Each thought is a brick, which, placed on top of the other, will complete the work. However, if the foundation is not made according to standards, the building will collapse sooner or later. Those who build their lives on religious ideas or human philosophies will conclude that they have been unfortunate in their propositions and actions.
It is not enough to be well-intentioned and devote yourself body and soul to a religion or a philosophical thought. If it is not the Word of the Creator, who created us in His image and likeness, the building will crumble, and the damage will be eternal: each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is (1 Corinthians 3.13). Stay alert and pray!
Do everything on the unique and true Foundation; otherwise, your project will disqualify you for eternity. Someone may ask if there is another foundation. If such a possibility existed, the Lord would not be perfect, and we would be lost. Now, in God you can believe with all your heart, for He is the absolute Truth. Good will always win. Hallelujah!
Flee from the easy profit, from the rascality in which someone will lose something, so that your gains can be multiplied. Without a doubt, this attitude is evil. What comes from the enemy is not good to occupy our thoughts, let alone give our pockets a raise. We have to be holy in our way of being. Otherwise, we will have eternal problems (1 Corinthians 10.31). Let us do good to all!
Remember that one day you will stand before God and give an account of your deeds. What does not have the approval of the Most High comes from the devil – and this will be like a burden on your conscience. Failing to honor your commitments is bad for your future. The dishonest or malicious person is not used by the Lord. You must know who you serve!
Jesus taught us to plan the cost of the work, so that it would not be unfinished and a source of ridicule (Luke 14.28,29). This is the least we should do, so that people will not ridicule us: This man began to build and was not able to finish (Luke 14.30). Act according to the Holy Scriptures and be a blessing!
In Christ, with love,

God of our reflection! It would be good if we were only willing to do some work, under Your direction and according to Your Word. Demons will tempt us to command stones to be turned into bread!
But we will pay attention to Your instructions; thus, we will not hinder Your wonderful plan. No matter what the enemy offers us, we have the best: the Savior. We must listen to Your teachings!
In the grace You have given us, we have what is necessary to successfully fulfill Your will. For this, we ask You for wisdom. As wise architects, we will follow Your guidance - rather than the advice of others. You are our good Instructor!
