You meet him who rejoices and does righteousness, Who remembers You in Your ways. You are indeed angry, for we have sinned— In these ways we continue; and we need to be saved.

Isaiah 64:5

One of the most significant commandments to us who want to receive the blessings of The Lord is that we must rejoice. Yet, such state of joy is not natural, I mean the one we all feel when, for instance, we have achieved something or when we meet up with someone we love. In fact, the joy I want to convey here is the result of having The Lord visiting us, and that of the understanding we acquire as we meditate on His Word. It is like a green light signalling that we are now ready to go to battle.

God goes out to meet up with those who, with contentment, cry out for their rights declared in The Scripture – meaning righteousness being performed. Those who are well aware of the attitude they are to take – yet they do not do so – will not have The Lord going out towards them. They remain alone and, in that case, they can neither defeat the enemy nor the temptations that usually come up. Therefore, my brother, when that joy comes into your heart, you ought to take a snapshot of it and get it recorded on your soul, and then with it, you are qualified to fight on. Next, continue doing your bit for the fulfilment of the miracle. You must call to your memory The Most High as He reveals to you His ways, those you are to follow. All those teachings granted to you by Him, aiming at your healing, your prosperity or those for you to enjoy any other blessing, are counselling given to you by God Himself to bless your life. It is indeed important to recall them on your journey and ask The Almighty for wisdom to act the same way He would.

Those requirements are very easy to meet considering that, otherwise, our Father would not have taught them to us. If you fulfil them The Lord will come to meet you. Yet, if you despise them you will stay on your own in the battle. It is extremely important to take attitudes based on what you have learnt in The Scripture; after all, only he who loves God is the one who really behaves according to His commandments (John 14: 21). On top of that, one day, you will be standing before Him and then you will be accountable for what you have done with His blessed Words. Therefore, nothing, absolutely nothing of what The Bible declares is to be considered as a minor alternative.

The verse above of Isaiah is dealing with the anger The Lord felt against those people who sinned. But that lies now in the past considering that He has already provided us forgiveness and, today, He is working for everybody to be sanctified. God is preparing His people to be winners right here on earth and also in eternity; that been said, do not miss out on your opportunity to make amends with Him and, thus, secure eternal happiness. Turn to Him right away, and confess all those temptations that insist on attacking you and ask for deliverance. Eternity is assured in the commandments of The Lord which means that those who keep and fulfil them will have, at once, all their spiritual matters sorted out and, by doing so, they will be prepared to live in The Heavens eternally. So, do not let this precious moment run through your fingers!

All revelations you get from The Word of God have one sole purpose: your salvation. This is the greatest work that The Lord is willing to do in your life. Therefore, do get rid of all temptation and leave behind sin for you to be sanctified or else you will not see The Lord (Hebrews 12: 14).
