So the congregation of the peoples shall surround You; For their sakes, therefore, return on high.  Psalm 7.7

After listing three things which we must do in order to fight the forces of evil, David says that God is surrounded by the congregation of the peoples. We have to make the Most High´s fame known, so that people from all over the world who suffer, may seek Him and rest before His feet. To evangelize is to proclaim the Good News of what He has done and does for all those who give Him attention. In gratitude, everyone will surround Him. 

To go to the missionary fields just with persuasive words will bring little or no benefit to the Kingdom of God. People all over the world are just like those who live in First World countries. We cannot go with fear to preach the Truth, for, without it, no one will be saved. When you do not follow the Lord´s command to Go(Mark 16:15-18) you are disobeying Him. 

In Psalm 7:6, he says that we have to prepare for the battle in three ways, and the first one is: to make the Most High arise in His anger. You can make Him arise in love, but this does not serve for the fight against the powers of hell that bind people in sin. The lost need the love of God, but they have to see Him delivering them from the lies of Satan. Thus, they will surrender themselves to Christ. 

Secondly, we have to make Him lift Himself up in us because of the rage of our adversaries. When the enemy arises against someone, he does so with all his strength. Once we are the image and likeness of the Lord, the evil one hates us. Even if someone does his will, he will never help that person. But, if the Father is lifted up in your heart, you will have the conditions to defeat the tempter. 

The third thing is that the psalmist asks the Most High to rise up for him, for he had to do the judgment He commanded – take hold of what belonged to him, put the devil in his due place and assume all that God had destined for him. When we make the Most High rise up for us, we receive the capacity to face the evil one, and defeat him. Most definitely, He wants us to do that. Otherwise, He would not have inspired David, and this would not be registered in the Bible. 

After the work is done like God has determined, multitudes of people will love the Lord and serve Him with sincerity. Besides, we will be used in such a way that many people will seek us to be blessed. Then, the more we give of the anointing we receive, the more we will receive. The work is done in us and, thus, we can be God´s ambassadors amongst people; believers or not. 

When He sees people’s faith in Him, the Lord will return on high, which doesn’t mean He will hide from us, for the word high, in this context, means the position He has always had. However, because we were poorly taught, we relegate Him to the same level as of the false prophets and creators of several other religions. He wants to work great and wondrous things in our midst once again.
