Plead my cause and redeem me; revive me according to Your word.  Psalm 119.154

There is no reason why Christians should be discouraged, because the Holy Spirit revived us in the same moment as when He revived Jesus. Yet unfortunately, many times we are led by evil temptations and become cold in the faith and lifeless. However, if we read a chapter from the Gospels or the Psalms, or any other part of the Bible, we will feel the divine anointing come over us, and so we will be revived.

After we accept Jesus, there is no way how the devil can take away our faith. However, since the enemy knows when people are doubtful, he comes subtly, and discretely fills these people with fear and separates them from the Most High. The remedy is to go to the Word and assume your faith in Jesus. In no time, you will already be standing again, filled with life.

Whoever pays attention to temptations starts to weaken their faith. Even if someone may strive not to show it, problems start increasing and then it becomes evident that that person is separated from God. If the philistines had not arrested Samson and blinded him, he could even pretend that he still had power. There are many people who do not feel the joy of the Lord any longer, but they can dissimulate by using a refined evangelical language.

Do not try to hide your spiritual life. If you notice that it is getting cold, without the divine presence, remember where you fell and repent. Thus, God will send His Word, which will revive you. Then, the signs that you were reconnected to the Father will be the joy and willingness that will come into your being. The devil is always attempting something against you, but you must not let him be victorious.

The name devil means accuser of the children of God. Therefore, he insists that you believe that there is no forgiveness for you. Now, he might be right if you do not confess your sin to the Lord and to whomever you wronged. Salvation came to Zacchaeus when he decided to give four times back to those whom he had defrauded, according to what the Law stated. This means that he was going to call them one by one and return what he owned them. Do the same and you will be blessed.

Why should you give in to temptation? The Holy Spirit wants to lead you towards your revival by the Word. Therefore, let go of your anguish now, and follow the teachings of the Scriptures. Certainly, the worst attitude someone can have is to despise the gift of God. Your deliverance will depend only on what you will do from this moment on, because after death, there will be no more time to get things right with other people.

Take hold of His consolation and don’t let go. Be firm in what the Word of God reveals. The remedy can be bitter, but the healing will be complete. Whoever deceives or denies confessing what they have done closes the door of Heaven for their lives. Then, even though they may pray, cry out, and wait for the work to be done, they will not be answered. The Bible warns that if you despise the Word you will certainly perish.

In Christ, with love,

Lord of the reviving Word! We thank You for the Holy Spirit, who convinces us of sin, righteousness, and judgment. Thus, we have started the process of our revival. Help us to repair the damage that we caused to those whom we offended.

Thank You for comforting us in our anguish, delivering us from our mental labyrinth, which makes us lost. Your light is what leads us to receive the spiritual renewal. We cannot look backwards, but we must be cleansed once and for all.

We want to feel You again, to walk with You and be guided by Your Spirit. May Your love always envelop us. Then, we will be Your joy. Thank You, Father! Amen!
