15/08/2019 - SANCTIFIED IN GOD´S WILL

By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Hebrews 10:10

God knew of the destruction caused by sin in the midst of humanity, especially in the lives of the Israelites, His people. Because of this, in the so-called Law of Moses, the Lord established the shedding of animal blood so that those people, who should have been holy, would not be destroyed as they approached Him. However, this would not be definitive, because the blood of animals could not deliver men from the coming wrath. Then the final plan kicked in!

With the approach of the fullness of times, God sent forth His Son, but it is not known for certain when the Jewish priests ceased to sacrifice animals, although it was the Father’s will that the people should indeed sanctify themselves through the offering of the Body of Christ. This took place on the cross of Calvary, when real and definitive sanctification was given to those who accept the Savior in their lives. This wonderful work is available to all.

The Most High´s desire was fulfilled on the cross, when Jesus shed to the last drop of His blood and ended once and for all the separation between the Creator and men. Now, just understand what has been accomplished in your favor and take your place in Christ. Today, those born again can and should be considered sanctified by this glorious offering made by the Savior. Halleluiah!

In the days of the Law every priest appeared daily to offer the same sacrifices, which only covered sins. Today, this is not necessary, besides being repugnant in the eyes of God. John the Baptist was with two of his disciples and when he saw the Master pass by, he said: Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). He has taken away the sin of all, but it becomes real when the person receives Him as their Savior.

Many people have access to information of what the death of Christ in Jerusalem represents, but they do not accept Him as Savior. Sadly, we must recognize: several will continue in their sins, marching towards punishment, for they did not give any credit to the work done by the Son of God to give them permanent happiness. Why does someone act this way? That is the question that seems to have no answer.

Others, however, as Jesus said, will come from the East and from the West and sit at table with the patriarchs, while the children of the Kingdom will be cast out (Matthew 8:11). We must strive to tell people about what has been done for all on the cross, for whoever does not call on the Name of the Lord will not be saved (Acts 2:21). What a loss it will be to those who despise the free gift of God. We must preach the Good News!

And you, are you saved already? Did you give your life to Jesus and do you live according to the Word? Have you persevered in following the Lord or abandoned the gift of salvation, exchanging it for crumbs of illicit pleasures and other things? Be careful!

In Christ,with love,

Father! What perfect process was our sanctification, made once to last for eternity. You have brought us out of the kingdom of darkness and carried us into the Kingdom of Light, that of  Your Son!

Today we are free and know that we will never perish. Your will was made so that all who hear the Good News and believe will be saved, being born again and empowering to be at Your side forever. To You be the glory!

Your priests no longer need to shed the blood of animals, for a better blood was poured out to cleanse us from our sins and make us worthy to ascend to Heaven at Jesus' return. We are grateful for Your beautiful love!
