When the eyes of our soul were opened, we came to know the love of God that reached us with the Truth. Then our soul was filled with happiness and we began to love the Lord, in a beautiful way. We always remembered that He made us free, and we told this to everyone we talked to. It was great to go to church and we felt good listening to the Biblical preaching. In our eyes, we were the happiest people on Earth. Everything was wonderful!
As soon as God began to reveal Himself to us, the enemy also began his evil work to separate us from divine love. Our only weapon to face the oncoming struggles was faith in Christ, which came to us by listening to the Scriptures. However, we forgot to keep our soul well. That keeping comes by hearing the Word of God and not our heart, for the latter is hopelessly corrupt (Jeremiah 17:9). Stay alert!
Those who come to trust in Jesus must be taught to have their hope in Him. Thus, it is written: For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit (Jeremiah 17:8). Salvation is for everyone in your house: So, they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household (Acts 16:31).
However, this is not what is seen in almost all so-called Christian families. The fault lies in their lack of knowledge for the Word. Our children and families have strayed from the faith, going into dens of perdition, where there is prostitution, dishonesty, idolatry and witchcraft. All of that rejects God and the Savior. The important thing is to guard our soul, so that the seed is not choked among thorns (Mark 4:18,19). Mercy!
Forgetting the things shown to us by the Lord robs us of authority over our family. We need to repeatedly tell everyone how much we suffered before we found salvation in Jesus, otherwise we will never see the promise fulfilled in our family. Remember that many teachers in schools have no experiences with God, so they make up our children’s mind to disobey the faith.
Never take away from your heart the real, living fellowship you have with the Lord, for this will impress upon your loved ones a deep love for God. When they face temptations, they will not fall for the lies of the devil, because the faith in Christ that first dwelt in you will now dwell in them: when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also (2 Timothy 1:5).
This is the way to take care of your family, which already has the mantle of salvation spread over it – so no one will be lost. The work of the Spirit of God carried out in you is valid for your home. It’s easy to have all your family members at the feet of the Most High; it depends merely on you, doesn’t it?
In Christ, with love,

Father, Savior of our family! What beautiful guidance You have given us today! Nothing better than to see all of our family at Your feet, living the victorious work of Christ. Make us honor You, and we shall be honored, in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Hallelujah!
Let us never forget the revelations You show us in the Scriptures. They are an inseparable part of the work You have prepared to do in our descendants. None of those You have given us will be lost, but we and our household will serve You with joy!
We thank You for giving us salvation, which includes those who have our blood. None of them will turn to the enemy, but all will be blessed in Your hands and be part of Your people. Lord, You are mighty!
